Soxinz II

Sohyun has landed on her birth land. It was so nice meeting her ex or more comfortable to be called an old lover. Their every moment got reminiscences back as they finally can meet face to face again. They both admit that the time they spent without each other is kinda hard and emotionally wrecked for them.

However, the smile on Sohyun's lips right now has nothing to do with her original mission before she met Xinyu. The persuading thing got nowhere further than an introduction. It's not because Sohyun is playing and just wants to have a useless chit chat with Xinyu. But it's because Xinyu's father had an exact opinion. They can't change anything now.

But, she knows she can't just come to her father empty handed. She will try her hardest. Being slack in her responsibility is not in her life's dictionary anymore. She doesn't want to feel guilty anymore just like what happened to her before.

Two days later....

The day is getting brighter. The light from Beijing's sunrise has rained Sohyun's bedroom through her window and her mid transparent curtain. But, Sohyun is not there. And yes, Sohyun came back to China.

In the kitchen, she's taking a sip on her tea while her left hand is holding a bunch of files, the script she will encounter any questions from Xinz Group later. At this rate, she could be one of the most hardworking people in Hyunz Group.

Suddenly, her phone at the side is vibrating, sending the sign of a call coming from someone. 'Baby Fox <3' was displayed on her phone's screen. As she answered, Xinyu's voice is playing in her ears.

"Can you please stop? I told you my father wouldn't change his mind. You should keep your energy for something else. They won't value your effort there. Don't you think that they just... Hahhh...", Xinyu sounded anxious over the line. She sounded miserable as she asked Sohyun to stop her effort on persuading. She seems like can't finish her sentences as she feels she could talk more nonsense if she continues.

"Good morning. Heheh", Sohyun's laughing at the end of her greeting. Her extremely 'T' reply just wants to make Xinyu feel better as she realizes how Xinyu sounded over the line.

"Good morning. But can you stop being stubborn?", it's a relief that Xinyu replies to her kindly without being mad at her reply just now.

"Let me just try this one. If it's not gonna work, i'll stop".

"You will never make it. So let's just stop here instead".

"Pfft... Are you asking me to fail my company?".

"Ani, it's just.... I don't want to feel guilty. You have given so much effort but the result will still be the same".

"How can you be so sure?".

"You know? I think.... They just want to see how you encounter their questions that's why they agreed to have a meeting again but.... You know, my father is stubborn", Xinyu didn't hear the question and just continued with her previous point without answering.

"And so do i".

"Sohyun ahh...", she sounded extremely serious right now. Unlike, the Xinyu that Sohyun knows before. Even from over the call line, she can tell that this is not a funny thing to Xinyu. It's a serious thing until even a person who can never be serious could be this serious.

She frowns her eyebrows. Her intention to take a sip on her tea just now got cancelled as she feels she should get more serious into this. She straightened her body from bending on the sofa just now and getting more concerned about this.

"Xinyu ah, is there anything you want to tell me?", one straight sentence from Sohyun but takes a long time for Xinyu to answer. Until, suddenly Xinyu's laughing over the line.

"Hahhaahhahaha... Are you taking this too seriously? I'm sorry if i made you overthink. It's nothing. Really. Uhh... Sohyun ah, i guess i have to go now. Let's talk again later, okay".

The call ended immediately but leaving an overthinking Sohyun alone. She put down her phone slowly. Her eyebrows frowned and she's just staring into one spot, trying to understand Xinyu's action just now.

She knows there is something Xinyu's hiding from her. She's getting more curious as she already saw these signs from the first day they met. Xinyu was trying so hard to dodge her feelings. She realized it since the Xinyu she knows would be shy and accepting the compliment she gets from Sohyun. But that day, Xinyu was just shy and suspecting the compliment she gets instead.

She doesn't know if this has something to do with the reason of the CEO of Xinz Group to refuse their collaboration. But seeing how Xinyu acted just now somewhat brings that hint into her conclusion.

What could it be? As an INTJ person, she refuses to be overthinking, but when it comes to Xinyu, everything of her is her everything.

The meeting time has come. As always, Sohyun is so calm when it comes to her mission. She's determined and refused to back off. For her, if she didn't try, she would never know.

As time goes by, everyone is impressed by Sohyun's presentation. She persuaded them as well as she could. Now, she just has to wait for the final decision. Could be more than a day until she could hear the result. Half of her heart wished for her success but the other half is still wondering about Xinyu's situation.

But, since it's the heiress of the company itself who came to persuade them, it's impossible for them to refuse again, right? She monologues with herself.

As she stood outside of the meeting room, trying to inform her father about the process she made, someone's approaching her.

"Park Sohyun ssi?", a man with a formal attire calling for her politely. He looks like the secretary of someone.

"I'm Mr. Zhou's secretary. We would like to invite Ms. Park for a night party at the Zhoushang Hotel nearby here. Held by Xinz Group", as he explains in more detail, he handed out the flyer for more information before he left.

It's near her hotel so it's kinda easier. She has never met Mr. Zhou before. He's too private until not even come to the meeting today. Maybe, she can meet him at this night party and maybe it's the time where Mr. Zhou could finalize his decision.
