Then, the whole meal reaches their table. The meats have finally gotten into the boiling water in front of them right now. Being cooked and being stared by eight pairs of eyes that are waiting for it to be swallowed into their tummy.

At the mean time, they're excitedly talking about how Yooyeon and Nakyoung could be friends. And they just answered with memories they had together but had to fake the environment of it as if they were just friends.

And there's Lynn who is still staying silent. Not even bothered to get into their stories. Even though there is another friend of theirs beside her since they're sitting 4 by 4 and in their row, Yooyeon and that one friend are at the very corner. But that friend is totally ignored by Lynn. Probably out of her consciousness.

Then, suddenly she stands up and goes behind Nakyoung and spontaneously ties her hair since they will start eating at any time now. Her face is totally serious right now.

Then, she tied the apron that was already on Nakyoung before heading to her seat back.

"Oh? Gomawo, Lynn ah", Nakyoung pats her butt before she sits down. Then, she quickly looks at Yooyeon if she needs help to tie her hair.

But, Yooyeon is already trying to tie her hair now and doesn't seem like she needs help. At the same time, her mind is full of Nakyoung with that one friend of her, Lynn. Nakyoung might be clueless since she's blind to the love she gave to Yooyeon but Yooyeon is quick-witted.

"Are we going home now...hmm...".

"I would stay for a while tho... Do you guys still want to go home?".

"I have to. If you want to hang out more, i'll quit. I'll be on my way, Yooyeon Saem".

"Nae, be careful on y'all's way home", Yooyeon just replied to their greeting before they were leaving.

Some of their friends have taken steps to head home by themselves. Leaving only Yooyeon, Nakyoung, Lynn and another one of her friends.

"I'll be heading home with Yooyeon Saem", Nakyoung gives the sweetest smile towards Yooyeon as she says that. Then, she looked at Lynn and that one friend of theirs.

"Oh, geurae. Kaja, Lynn ah. I'm afraid to go home alone. Let's have dinner again, Yooyeon Saem".

That one friend has already pulled Lynn's arm to come with her but Lynn's still standing still. She's looking at Nakyoung who just gave the sweetest smile towards someone else and not towards her.

At some point, her heart aches even after she said to herself that it's okay if Nakyoung smiles towards someone else as long as she's still smiling. Perhaps, her mindset had changed as time went by. The feeling of jealousy is slowly eating her. Being a bystander as always before seems like not a thing to her anymore.

Her mind is asking her to bring Nakyoung along but her body doesn't want to do it. Not in front of her lecturer. Not in front of Nakyoung's lover. At least, her inner self is trying hard not to do it. It makes her heart pound so loudly, imagining if she's ever lost control and actually takes Nakyoung away from Yooyeon.

Her brain is brainstorming wildly of what could happen between them next if she ever lets her intrusive thoughts win. What will Nakyoung react around her after that if she ever did it? What if they will be awkward with each other? What if she suddenly cut off the relationship of 'friends' and not even be 'lovers' but 'strangers' instead with each other? Even the thing she would do with Nakyoung if she ever dragged Nakyoung away, doesn't reach her mind right now.

All she could see now is Nakyoung's face which could overshadow every light that comes from cars that are passing by and the street's light. Her eyes totally blocked things other than Nakyoung and she can't seem to hear anything else even though it's a busy and crowded street.

Nakyoung's face looks like she's confused right now, but to Lynn, her face is like calling her to do it. Even her friend's voice that has been calling her can't actually enter her ears. She's staring so dearly until her eyes get teary. She can't even realize that she's showing her teary eyes towards everyone right now. Until, her eyes slowly notice and unblock Yooyeon's face who is standing slightly behind Nakyoung.

Yooyeon's smiling softly towards her. Her eyes are showing slight eyesmiles. Her lips is smiling so dearly. It seems like she's sending a message towards Lynn virtually. But, Lynn can't actually catch what she's saying but at least, that soft smile snaps her out of her thoughts. Her serious face just now slowly began to reply to Yooyeon's smile.

"Annyeong, Yooyeon Saem, Naky unnie. Please be safe", at the end, all Lynn could do is bow down before leaving with her friend.

Giving a wide smile just now is not actually showing her actual heart. She doesn't even know why she would rather let go than fight for it. But for her, that is a totally wrong way to scale her love towards Nakyoung. Because if it could be scaled, it would be endless.

But again, all she thought is that she's not compatible enough to be with Nakyoung and rather be a bystander again. Once again, she hurt her own heart herself.
