"Do you always have a limo drive you to and from school?" (Y/N) asked that afternoon as she stared at the sleek black vehicle from where she stood just in front of the entrance to the school, staring blankly at Cage who had been waiting for her. "And what about my car? I can't just leave it here."

"I'll call someone to take care of that for you," Cage replied simply. "When we're done with our tutoring session and after I drop you off, your car will be in your driveway."

"You know where I live?"

"Of course not. You're going to tell me."

"Nah, stranger danger."

"I'm your classmate, though...?"

(Y/N) shrugged, as if to say that that fact didn't matter. Cage stared at her for a moment longer before taking out his phone that looked as expensive as the limo beside him. Tapping away on the screen for a second, he then pressed the device to his ear and with perfect accuracy described her car and license plate along with her address on where to bring the vehicle to the other person on the line.

    She blinked slowly.

"What?" Cage chuckled when seeing her expression. "Student directory."

    "Sure, sure..." she shrugged again.

    She wasn't convinced.

Practically dragging her into the limo, Cage then directed the driver to take them to his house. Silence descended between them as Cage then went on his phone again while (Y/N) gazed out the window at the houses passing by. The buildings slowly grew larger and larger the closer they inched into the more wealthy part of town, her expression barely changing yet her eyes widening from how large and glamorous everything seemed.

Then they pulled into the driveway of Cage's house, and his by far was the most expansive.

"Damn..." (Y/N) stared up at the house with its floor to ceiling glass windows, marble and sandstone architecture, and the turquoise pool that glimmered in the light that could be seen in the backyard. "I'm pretty sure my house can fit into your house like, five times over. I wonder if my house is as big as your room, then. That would be cool."

"It would?" Cage raised a brow.

"Sure," she hummed as the car came to a stop before stepping out. "I mean, it must be nice with that much space, right?"

    "Right," he smirked.

Leading (Y/N) up to his room that was muted in color but just as stylish as she expected, Cage pulled out a spare chair from his closet that he then set up so they could both sit at his desk. The girl watched as he did so, wondering just what was going through his mind for him to suddenly declare that their tutoring sessions would start immediately. She then shrugged off the thought considering she didn't really have the energy to fight him on it.

She was already at his house.

There was nothing she could do now.

"So, in the email that Mr. Henderson sent me, he said you were struggling with balancing equations and the proper identifications for atomic structures, is that correct?" Cage asked as he sat down, gesturing for her to do the same which she did.

    She nodded.

"Very well, in that case..." he then pulled out a textbook of chemistry problems to circle a few before handing it to her. "...do these problems for me. I just want to confirm your skill level so we can skip what you do know and move on from there. These problems are easier, so I think you'll be fine."

"Right, thanks..." (Y/N) mumbled as she set to work, ignoring his stare.

Cage propped his head up as he watched the girl work, his dark eyes lidding when thinking about her reaction to his car, his house, his lifestyle. Usually, so many people would respond with envy at his wealth or group themselves with him due to the fact that they were even brought there. (Y/N)'s reaction threw him off though since instead of looking impressed, she merely responded in a blank and rather uninterested tone.

He exhaled softly.

He kind of wanted to see how else she would react to their contrasting worlds.

Snapping to attention when feeling a tap on his shoulder, he glanced up to see (Y/N) pointing the end of her pencil towards him, making it obvious that she had poked him with the tool. She then held up her paper for him to look over, indicating that she had finished the problems he had assigned.

"Are you sure you actually needed help?" He laughed lightly when glancing over her writing. "You got them all right."

"Well... they were easy like you said," she shrugged, fiddling with a strand of her (H/C) hair.

"Want to try some of the harder problems, then?"

"Oh... sure."

Pointing out the ones he wanted her to do, Cage continued to watch her as she worked. He could see that she fidgeted ever so slightly under his gaze, but it wasn't out of being nervous, it was out of wanting to actually get the problems right. He chuckled at that since he noticed the little missteps that she took when solving the problems. And as the two worked, time seemed to go by quickly for it seemed that not even moments later, the sun was already beginning to sink below the clouds.

"Wow, look at the time," Cage muttered as he flicked his eyes towards his clock.

"Oh, yeah... it's getting pretty late," (Y/N) affirmed as she began to pack up her things. "Sorry for staying over so long, but thanks for helping me."

"Sure," he propped his head up. "I wanted to."

"Ah, okay, then... bye," she gave a short nod before walking out of his room.

Cage chuckled.

And just like that, she's gone.

Unlike the other girls that I've invited over, she wasn't touchy, she didn't ask me to walk her out, and she stayed on task.

Hm.

How fun.
