The Praying Mantis

If Ursula represented the ultimate betrayal in Dalilah's eyes, she was yet to discover and understand the damage that she did by pushing him to get married to his ex-wife, Maya. Just like Rachel, Maya was part of Lucifer's Cult and as wives, it was hard to find worse life partners.

Initially, Dalilah had thought Rachel to be just a jealous wife who felt threatened by her. She felt sympathy for her and believed that Josh was wrong to take so long to mention her existence. She was mistaken. There was a full fledged conspiracy against Dalilah and Josh, and it seemed almost totally unrelated to good old jealousy. Maya was about to make her appearance in Dalilah's world, making her almost fall off her chair.

Until then, Dalilah thought she was talking to Gideon, Rachel, Ursula and Seth. For over a year she thought Josh was talking to her and attacking her viciously. She knew there was more but believed them to be Josh's siblings. One day, as someone impersonating Ursula was communicating with her telepathically, to her big surprise, she heard her refer to Josh as "my husband" instead of "my son." She was stunned because she was certain that she was not talking to Rachel. Suddenly a bulb lit up in her brain: This was Josh's ex! And it explained so much!

Maya was extremely self-centered. She believed that the world revolved around her. Everyone and everything she liked belonged to her. No one could compare to her in anything she ever did. When Dalilah was cooking, she was working hard to overheat her stove and burn her food, cool her oven and bite Adam's throat and tongue so the food would taste off in his mouth and he would criticize it. When Dalilah brushed her hair, she would send her snakes over her head to make it look frizzy and if she dressed up to step out, she was so jealous, she would bite viciously. She was very possessive and believed that Josh was exclusively hers. After divorcing, they regularly kept in touch and she could not let go of him as she needed his financial support. 

She wanted to be perceived as the best at everything. Otherwise, how would anyone explain the fact that she went ballistic whenever Dalilah was taking care of her husband? When she was preparing his favorite food, or helping him get dressed. When she held his hand so he did not lose his balance on the uneven floor of the underground garage. It dawned on Dalilah that the first person who had impersonated Josh was none but Maya. Pretending to be jealous of Adam, she had another excuse to unleash her snakes to bite Dalilah all over her body, with a preference for her breasts, the middle of her back, the sciatica nerve, her head or her feet.

Like Ursula and Rachel, Maya could use entities to monitor Josh's every thought and emotion and could see through his eyes with her Devil skills. She could get into his dreams and subconscious mind. He did not have one second of privacy. Dalilah also discovered that whenever Josh was talking to another woman, Maya would tease him energetically in his private parts to trigger unexpected feelings of desire. She knew that, with his conservative values, Josh would feel guilty and inadequate because he had lustful feelings for women other than Rachel. Her goal was to destroy Josh's relationship and later marriage. She had the satisfaction of seeing him fight with Rachel and would continue being number one in his life and most importantly  being at the receiving end of his financial help.

What Dalilah found very troubling was that she sensed that at some point Maya, Ursula and Rachel started working together against her. They had identified her as the enemy and put a target on her back. She was seen as the person who was going to shed light on the reality surrounding Josh, exposing Lucifer's Cult, and for that, she had to be eliminated.

Just like Ursula, both Rachel and Maya meant to keep Josh in a constant low vibration. If he thought poorly of himself, then he would never grow to his full potential. He would never emancipate himself from them, would never know the light that he carries and would never come into his healing gifts and full fledged clairvoyance.

To keep him vibrating low, their job was to primarily attack his mental health, unleashing their snakes on his head as well as his vagus nerve. they would stuff his brain with completely unjustified anger energy so that he would have conflicts either with them or with others, and he would always be the one at fault. Their favorite spot was between the ears. The snakes, carrying conflict energy, or stagnation, procrastination, tiredness etc.... could easily slip in there and cause delays in his work, health issues and occasionally beef with people who were good to him.

Dalilah discovered that technology had a role to play in black magic. She got to know that attacks on Josh were made easy by the fact that he had to wear a headset often in order to record his meditation and hypnosis videos. Dalilah had learnt the hard way that headsets and bluetooth amplified psychic attacks. The pressure on her head and the intensity of the snake bites lessened immediately after she removed her own headset. She learnt later to try to keep it charged because it was worse when the battery was low. She also started clearing its energy and putting an energetic protection on it before she used it. Josh's passion for what he did kept him from being totally overwhelmed by the amount of dark energy thrown his way. But just like any other human being, he had his mental health vulnerabilities and she preyed on them like a hyena.

Maya's ability to shed crocodile tears was impressive. She literally sobbed when she could not hurt Dalilah the way she wanted and when she tried to kill her and nothing seemed to work. She also felt suicidal in those moments. She wanted to kill herself because she felt like a failure at her job as a soldier of the Devil. Dalilah was sure that Josh knew none of that, and with his soft heart and the feeling of inadequacy that she forced on him, he could not resist anyone's tears. With her witchcraft, she could push into him her own mental health problems so they became his and not hers anymore. She had a crying entity that she sent to Dalilah often in order to weaken her spirits and allow Ursula to slip into her. The entity mostly attached itself to Dalilah's glasses. All she had to do was clean her glasses and all was well. Josh took it for granted that the tears were his and they would sometimes interfere with his productivity. Yes, Josh devoted his life to healing others, because like most of us, he needed to heal himself.

Maya's abuse was beyond description, beyond words. Only now Dalilah understood that she was the one coming as Josh for an entire year, saying horrible things about him as if he was the one speaking them. She also knew how she used her snakes to attack Josh because the same attacks ended up on her own body. Maya positioned them on his abdomen so they would always be biting at specific parts such as the liver and the gallbladder. She also loved to target the visceral fat around the stomach in order to create cancerous cells. She dreamt of growing tumors. Snakes bites would also be sent to his back to make him feel constantly in pain and overburdened, with the weight of the world on his shoulders.

Another favorite spot of hers was snake bites in the leg to cause painful cramps, and in the big toe to create an ingrained nail problem. The excruciating pain that she caused literally gave her orgasms. But all this was far from enough for Maya. Dalilah went through a time where she thought she struggled with emotional eating, only to discover that, through Josh, Maya was sending her hunger spells in the form of snakes biting her stomach. After she ate, she would give her heartburns, for which she took tablets a few times, before realizing that this was pure malevolent energy that she could clear without medication. All of that was hitting Josh first before reaching her.

Then Dalilah remembered when Josh had called Rachel "my rock" while mentioning her to Dalilah after his dad's passing. Dalilah felt an off energy but did not make any comments. When she understood the role that Rachel played in keeping her husband in chains and stealing his money, she was wondering if she was the rock that wanted to sink him at the bottom of the ocean. Maya laughed and laughed and kept repeating that phrase over and over again: "The rock that will sink him in the ocean." Dalilah now knew that it was nothing but witchcraft. By repeating a sentence over and over again, she strived to speak it into existence. Maya wanted to sink Josh. Just like the rest of the members of Lucifer's Cult, she had murderous instincts and only wanted his money. Dalilah was wondering what she was going to discover next. After all, when she had asked her why she wanted her to be demonically possessed, the answer was "In order to kill you."

And with all this, Maya pretended to love Josh, a real deep and sincere love of the praying mantis.
