The next day, Luna was peacefully listening to her class when Mila whispered,
Mila : "Luna, Luna."
Luna saw her and gestured for her to focus on the lesson. Mila pouted and started paying attention. Tessa smiled at them.
The teacher then called out,
Teacher : "Luna."
Luna : ( thought ) "Oh no, did she notice Mila?"
and worried she would get scolded. But instead, the teacher asked her to solve a math problem on the board.
Luna felt relieved and smiled as she went to the board and correctly solved the problem.
The teacher praised her, saying,
Teacher : "Good!" ( smiled at her )
Next, the teacher called on Mila, who was scared. She hadn't been paying attention to the lesson and was unprepared.
Mila : Mam ( smiled nervously)
Teacher : Luna , You go sit.. Mila come here and solve the problem
Mila was sweating and went near the board and saw Luna
Luna tried to help her but teacher is noticing them so Mila was helpless
Mila closed her eyes in frustration..
She was about to write on the board and then..
The bell rang for the next period
The trio gathered again
Tessa : ( laughing ) Wow ! What a scenario
Mila was glaring at her
Luna smiled at them
Luna : Its Okay Mila.. We'll help you catch up
Tessa : yeah , maybe next time you listen. Instead of daydreaming.
Mila : ( laughs ) shut up guys ! I was just.... Uh... Contemplating life.
Luna : ( smirked ) Contemplating life ? With your eyes fixed on ceiling fan ?
Mila : ( giggles ) Hey its a great fan..
Luna and Tessa started teasing her again..
On the other hand Rafael's team got ready for their mission.
Rafael discovered that one of his members was a spy, feeding information to his enemies about their plans.
Now, his team was on a mission to prevent their enemies from destroying Morale's Team
They arrived at the location where the mission was set to unfold. Rafael's strategy was to talk and solve the problem, avoiding violence and bloodshed. He approached Ryan and said,
Raf : "Let's talk." ( serious tone )
Ryan : "Why? Are you guys afraid of me?" (smirking)
Rafael smirked, his gaze shifting to Nick
Nick winked at Ryan. Nick declared,
Nick : "You've sealed your fate today, Ryan. Not even God can save you now."
Ryan : "Aishh!" ( and signaled to his team to start shooting who opened fire, and started the battle )
Ryan's men were dying and injured , but he refused to back down.
Ryan : "Take them down!" he yelled, charging at Rafael.
Rafael stood firm, his eyes flashing with anger. Nick stepped forward, his gun trained on Ryan.
Nick : "It's over,"
Ryan's men faltered, unsure of what to do. Rafael's men closed in, surrounding them.
Ryan , pulling out a knife.
Ryan : "I'll take you down myself,"
Nick reacted swiftly, grabbing Ryan's arm and twisting it behind his back.
Nick : "It's over," he repeated.
Rafael approached Ryan, his eyes blazing with intensity
Within a fraction of second Ryan took the knife and attacked Rafael. Rafael's hands were injured and started bleeding
Raf : ( smirked ) "You should have stayed at your limit," ( he said, his voice low and deadly. )
Ryan struggled, but Nick's grip was unyielding. Rafael's men moved in, disarming Ryan's remaining followers.
The battle was won, but at what cost? The question lingered in Rafael's mind.
Rafael sighed in frustration.
Raf : Let's go ! ( breathing heavily )
Nick : Hm ( trying to catch breathe )
At college
After college hours, Tessa asked Luna,
Tessa : "Hey, are you heading to your part-time job?"
( Luna nodded in agreement. Tessa exclaimed )
Tessa : "I'm coming too! I want to join you. I can't bear staying at home and listening to my parents' lectures all day."
Luna : ( raised a concern) "But how will you manage your studies?"
Tessa : ( confidently replied) "Why worry when Luna is here?"
She smiled proudly, and Luna smiled back, touched by her friend's trust.
Together, they headed to Luna's part-time job, waving goodbye to Mila as they left. Mila went her separate way home.
While walking
Tessa asked Luna about her job and what she would be doing.
Luna: "Currently, I am working in a convenience store."
Tessa: "What about before?"
Luna: "Um, I was a tutor before."
Tessa: "Whoa, that sounds impressive!
Luna chuckled. "Yeah, it was a great experience. I tutored kids in math and science."
Tessa's eyes widened in surprise.
Tessa : "No way! I would have never guessed. You're like a secret genius or something."
Luna laughed.
Luna : "Hardly a genius, but I did enjoy it. I liked helping kids understand difficult concepts and seeing the light bulb go off in their heads."
Tessa : ( smiles ) "That's so cool. What made you stop tutoring?"
Luna : ( shrugged ) "I needed a change of pace and something more stable. Tutoring was freelance, so it was unpredictable. The convenience store job is more consistent, but...it's not as fulfilling, you know?"
Tessa nodded sympathetically.
Tessa : "Yeah, I get it. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for stability."
Luna smiled at her.. And they both went to the store.. Luna introduced Tessa to the store's owner. Tessa joined there.
