Two days had passed since Luna arrived at Rafael's mansion.
Today, she had planned to go to college. As she got dressed, she took a deep breath and encouraged herself
Luna : "You can make it."
With her college bag in hand, Luna headed downstairs to find Rafael.
Agnes ( the maid ) greeted her and asked
Agnes : "How's your health, Luna?"
Luna ( smiled ): "I'm good, ma'am."
Agnes smiled back and inquired
Agnes : "Where are you going? You look a bit nervous."
Luna went near Agnes and whispered
Luna : "I've planned to go to college today. I need to ask permission from Raf."
Agnes's eyes widened slightly that she is calling him by name.
Agnes : "Oh, sir? You're looking for sir?"
Luna nodded, and Agnes glanced at her watch
Agnes : "He's working out in the gym. It may take about an hour and a half before he's done."
Luna's eyes widened in concern
Luna : "Oh no, I don't have much time. Can I go inside?"
Agnes ( thought for a minute ) : "I don't know if he'll let you in. No one enters his private gym, not even for cleaning. He prefers to do it himself."
Luna sighed, feeling anxious. Just then, a landline phone rang, and Agnes excused herself to answer it, she bowed to luna and went leaving her alone.
Agnes turned and saw luna, who is in deep thought.. So she said,
Agnes : "Don't worry, just go and call him. He won't scold you."
And then she went to attend the call.
But Luna was left standing there, unsure of what to do next.
She took a deep breath and went near the gym..
Luna stood there, gathering her courage to call out to Rafael.
She thought to herself, "Ahhh, how should I call him? You can make it, Luna, don't be scared."
Taking a deep breath, Luna spoke,
Luna : "Hm... Hello... Ex- Excuse me...?"
Rafael, who was working out in the gym, heard Luna's voice thinking for a minute and then he shouted back,
Raf : "What do you want?"
Luna stumbled over her words
Luna.: "Um... I... I need to talk..."
Rafael sighed, seemingly annoyed, and said,
Raf : "Get in."
Luna's heart skipped a beat as she hesitated for a moment before making her way to the gym.
Luna was in hella nervous and the thought of entering his personal space made her more nervous.
But she knew she had to be brave if she wanted to ask for his permission to go to college.
Taking a deep breath, Luna pushed open the door and stepped inside.
Luna entered the gym, her back facing Rafael, who is working out. He was wearing a sleeveless black gym fit and trousers. She forgot to blink for a second.
Rafael stopped his workout and turned to Luna, raising his eyebrows asking "what" on gesture. Still, Luna couldn't look away. Rafael sighed and asked,
Raf :"What do you want?"
Luna flinched, coming back to reality at the sound of his cold and stern voice.
Luna : I... I... Um... I was..
Rafael noticed her college bag
Luna : "I... I need to go... to college... today."
Raf : "You okay? Your health?"
Luna nodded quickly, trying to reassure him.
Luna : "Yes, I'm good. I'm all okay now." She forced a smile.
Rafael nodded and returned to his workout.
Luna thought to herself, "Aish, he's so rude."
Still she is standing there, Rafael turned and asked,
Raf :"You didn't go?"
Luna : "Um, yeah... sorry."
She quickly turned to leave, while opening the door she got bumped into a large man, and fell down on the floor, Her bag fell to the ground.
Luna : "Omo! Ahh, my hands!"
Nick helped her up, apologizing,
Nick : "Oh god, I'm sorry."
As Luna rubbed her hands, Nick smiled and asked noticing her bag..
Nick : "Going to college?"
Luna nodded, still looking at him with a hint of fear.
Nick : "Can I drop you?"
Luna : "No, I'm okay now. I can take the train."
Nick nodded and smiled. Luna smiled back and quickly exited, her heart racing.
She thought to herself, "Omo! They're both so scary. Oh god, how many days do I have to stay here? Aishhhh...
Nick entered the gym, curious about Luna's presence.
Nick : "What was she doing in your private area, Raf?"
Rafael continued his workout, responding
Raf : "She's going to college, so she came to ask permission."
Nick : "Ohh! Sir is letting her into your private gym?" ( teasing manner )
Rafael gave Nick a stern look
Raf : "Shut up!" What about the work I gave you yesterday ?
Nick persisted, trying to lighten the mood
Nick : "Raf, don't be so cold all the time. Smile! See me? Smile!"
Rafael shot Nick a death glare, his expression unyielding.
Nick quickly changed the subject
Nick :"Ah, um, I completed the work you gave me yesterday."
He handed Rafael a file, trying to divert attention from his previous teasing.
Rafael took the file, his expression still serious, and began to review it.
