Day at the College
Luna gathered her friends around her, eager to share the shocking news.
Luna: "You guys won't believe what happened to me yesterday," ( she said, her eyes wide with excitement.)
Tessa : '' What happened?" ( she asked curiously )
Luna took a deep breath.
Luna : "I met the mafia team, and they helped me out of a bad situation."
Mila's eyes widened in suprise.
Mila : "Wow, interesting!"
Luna shot Mila a warning glance, but Mila just kept smiling.
Tessa : How ?
Luna : Yesterday after my work.. I was heading to my home... But suddenly I was surrounded by three large men.. They were blocked me and they tried to do something with me. I was hella scared..Only By that time the mafia leader.. You know right ? rafael Morales.. He helped me out.
Mila : omg Omg ! Tell me what happened next..
Luna told everything what happened to her last night. She was extremely confused and scared at the same time.
Tessa : "Did you ask them about the payment?"
Luna ( nodded ) : "I asked his PA, but he didn't reveal anything."
Tessa : "Hmm, that's strange."
Luna turned to Tessa, concerned.
Luna : "By the way, how's your health now? You're feeling better, right?"
Tessa : ( reassured her with a smile ) "I'm okay now. "
Mila : How your health got worse all of sudden.. You were so active the day before.
( Tessa took a deep breathe and told everything what happened to her mom and her )
Mila : Omg ! Why your mother is like this.. So cruel..
Tessa sighed and smiled sadly..
Tessa : I will try my best to make her happy..
Luna smiled at her and
Luna : We will encourage you..
Tessa nodded with a smile. And then she remembered about the stranger who calls her daily.. She was about to share it.. But then bell rang..
On the other side..
Harry sat with his friends, beaming with joy as he gazed at Luna from across the room. Suddenly, someone touched his shoulder, harry turned it was ben.
Ben : "Hey, did you join that part-time job or not?"
Harry nodded with wide smile on his face .
Harry : "Yes, I worked with her last night."
Ben : "Aish! You stupid! Don't even say that."
Harry ( looked confused ) : "Why? What's wrong?"
Ben (scolded) : "did You left with Luna after work?"
Harry (shook his head) : "No, I didn't. I felt sleepy, so I left early."
Ben ( sighed ) : "Luna was in trouble last night. Somebody helped her out. If you had stayed with her, you could have helped her and earned her respect."
Harry' eyes widened in shock
Harry : "What? How? When? Who helped her?"
Ben glared at him.
Ben : you joined that job because of her. Why did you leave her then? You missed the chance.
Harry dismissed the criticism.
Harry : "Leave it. I don't need chances. Is Luna alright? Who troubled her?"
Ben shook his head.
Ben : "I don't know. I just heard them talking while passing by the class."
Harry's mind raced as he looked at Luna, who was chatting with her friends. He wondered who had helped her and what had happened. Harry felt so bad that he couldn't help her.. He didn't ask luna about it. He just tried to help her after this.
Harry looking at luna who is listening to the class peacefully.
Harry sighed and worried so much for her.
After two days.
At Rafael's Mansion
Nick : We found them. Who troubled Luna that day..
Raf nodded while hearing to Nick
Nick : They are the men who Luna's father got so much money and failed to pay them. So after her father's accident.. Luna paid all of his debts. Even for those men. But they took this chance and threatening her to pay more, um- also tried to misbehave with her.
Raf : what ? What's the reason to do with a girl ? For money ?
Nick : ( sighed ) Yes.. Money, and desire. There is no one for her. No one can ask anything if something happen for her.. So they used to get money from her since from the school days.
Raf closed his eyes.. He can't even digest those things.. His thoughts are filled with How can people be so cruel.
Nick : Her dad is the main reason raf.
Raf looked at Nick
Nick : He used to Drink alot and collect money from every strangers.
Raf nodded..
Raf : She paid every debts ?
Nick nodded while checking his laptop..
Nick : I investigated clearly.. She paid every debts of her fathers. They are just blackmailing her.
Raf nodded and...
Raf : Anyways.. We will warn them. ( while looking at Nick )
Nick nodded
Nick : Sure.
Days passes.
Days turned into weeks, and Luna's father remained in the same critical condition.
Rafael continued to cover the medical expenses, leaving Luna in confusion. Despite her attempts to pay him back, she was met with failure every time.
Rafael and Nick were busy with their work and the investigation into the men who had threatened Luna. They finally uncovered the identities of the men. And warned them. They didn't trouble Luna after that because no one is ready to mess with Morales team.
Meanwhile, Harry's affection towards Luna only grew stronger. He tried to impress her at every turn, hoping to catch her eye.
Tessa, on the other hand, was focused on her studies, driven by a desire to gain her mother's attention and approval. However, the mysterious stranger who had been calling her continued to reach out, but he didn't let her know his name and details.
