As she was arranging items on a shelf, a male voice suddenly spoke from behind her.
?? : "Hey, Luna. How's it going?"
Luna looked up and smiled, seeing who is standing there.
Luna : "Hey," "What brings you here?"
Harry : "I, uh, came to join the team. For a part-time job."
Luna ( smile) : "Part-time? Okay. I also work here."
Harry : (nodded ,smiling nervously.) "Yeah! I, uh, never knew you worked here."
( but he knew already that you work here. And he wantedly joined here to see you always )
Luna : "Yeah, I've been working here for a few months now"
As the day went on, they took a short break together, sipping their drinks and sitting on the bench outside.
Harry turned to Luna and asked
Harry : "So, what do you like to do in your free time?"
Luna thought for a moment before responding
Luna : "I like to read, watch movies, and listen to music. How about you?"
Harry : "I love playing guitar, writing songs. I'm actually thinking of starting a band soon."
Luna : "That sounds amazing! All the very best. ( smiles )
Harry smiled feeling happy
As the clock struck 10pm.
Harry yawned, still waiting to find out when Luna would finish work.
Luna noticed him and asked
Luna : "Feeling sleepy?"
Harry (yawned again) : "Yes, I usually sleep by 10 pm."
Luna : ( curious ) "Oh! Then why did you join a part-time job?"
Harry's eyes widened, realizing he might have said too much.
He laughed nervously
Harry : "Haha, it's just... I need to take care of my own expenses, so I joined."
Luna nodded
Luna : "Hmm, okay."
Harry asked, trying to sound casual
Harry : "When do you think you'll head home?"
Luna : "Maybe around 11 or possibly 12 am."
Harry's eyes widened in surprise, clearly not expecting her to work so late.
Harry: (yawns again) Well, I should probably get going. It's getting late.
Luna: (nods) Yeah, you should get some rest. I'll be fine closing up here.
Harry: (smiling) Okay, see you tomorrow then?
Luna: (smiling back) Yeah, see you tomorrow.
Harry: (starts to walk away, then turns back) Hey, Luna?
Luna: (looks up) Yeah?
Harry: (smiling) Goodnight.
Luna: (smiling) Goodnight, Harry.
(Harry leaves the shop, and Luna continues to work )
Attessa's home
She is sleeping, taking rest as she didn't feeling well..
Her phone buzzed..
She opened her eyes slowly from her foggy sleep. She reached over to her nightstand and took her phone.. She saw the phone screen.. It was the same number she received a call yesterday night.
She hesitated for a minute and attend the call
Tessa : Helo ( with sleepy voice )
?? : hey tessa.. Are you alright ?
Tessa : Ah ! You again.. Please tell me who are you.
?? : Ahn,Um.. Leave it.. Why didn't you came to college today ? ( worried tone )
Tessaa : I didn't feeling well.. ( sneezes )
?? : Oh, sorry to hear that. I was worried when I didn't see you in class today.
Tessa : (curious) How do you know my class schedule?
?? : (pausing) I... uh... I saw you around campus, okay?
Tessa : Okay... And how did you get my number?
?? : (hesitating) I... found it.
Tessa : Found it? How?
?? : (sighing) Look, Tessa, I know this is weird, But.. You will know me soon.
Tessa : (hesitant) I...
?? : (interrupting) Please, Tessa.. Take care. I will be waiting for your presence. Bye.
(The line went dead, leaving Tessa with more questions than answers.)
Tessa sighed and put her phone on the table and slept in confusion.
After finishing work, it was 11:40 PM.
As Luna locked the door and began to walk home.
Just as she turned the corner onto her street, only to find three large men standing in her way, blocking her path.
Luna's heart sank as she gazed up at the men, their towering forms looming over her like giants.
She tried to step around them, but they shifted their stance, forming a wall of muscle and menace.
Men : "Where are you headed, little one?" ( one of them growled )
Luna stood her ground, trying to keep her voice steady.
Luna : "I'm going home. Please let me pass."
The men snickered, their eyes roving over her like predators sizing up prey.
Men : "Oh, we'll let you pass... eventually,"
( one of them sneered, their tone sending shivers down her spine.)
Luna's instincts screamed at her to run, but her feet seemed rooted to the spot.
She frantically scanned the deserted street, searching for a glimmer of hope, a chance to escape.
Luna : ( tears ) Wh-What you people want from me. Who are you.
Men : Hey girl ( touching her shoulder )
Luna trying to take of his hands.. She is scared as hell.. Her whole body is shivering.. Tears constantly rolling from her eyes
Men: "Hey, girl, don't be like that. We just want to have a little fun."
Luna: (trying to shake off his hand) "Get away from me! Who are you?"
Men: (laughing) "Oh, we're just some guys who've been watching you. You're quite the beauty, you know that?"
Luna: (terrified) "Please, just leave me alone."
Men: (moving closer) "We can't do that. We've been waiting for you."
(Luna tries to push them away, but they're too strong. She's trembling with fear, her eyes welling up with tears.)
Men: (sneering) "You're not going anywhere until we say you can."
Luna : Please leave me-.. I have nothing to do with you people.. Please..
(Luna's eyes dart around, desperate for an escape. She's trapped, and she knows it. The men's hot breath is on her skin, making her skin crawl.)
Men: (whispering) "You're going to be our little plaything for the night."
(Luna's heart is racing, her mind racing with fear. She's about to give up hope when suddenly...)
(A voice rings out from the shadows, firm and commanding.)
Voice: "Leave her alone."
