Yuki's POV:

Yuki tried to shake off the encounter with the rude guy and rejoin her friends, but the irritation lingered. Deciding she needed some fresh air, she made her way to the balcony, hoping the cool night breeze would help clear her head.

Outside, she leaned against the railing, staring out at the city lights. The music from inside was muffled, and she took a deep breath, trying to let go of her annoyance. She felt a presence beside her and turned to see another guy step out onto the balcony. He had a distant, uninterested look on his face and seemed more focused on his phone than anything else.

Yuki tried to ignore him, not in the mood for another confrontation. She continued to gaze out at the city, but she couldn't help but feel the weight of his presence next to her.

"Parties, huh? Always full of people who don't know how to act," she muttered, more to herself than to him.

The guy looked up from his phone, raising an eyebrow. "If you hate them so much, why are you here?"

Yuki turned to face him, surprised by his abrupt question. "I'm here with my friends. Not that it's any of your business."

He shrugged, looking back at his phone. "Seems like a waste of time if you ask me."

Yuki felt her irritation flare up again. "Well, no one did ask you. And for the record, I'm capable of enjoying myself without dealing with rude people."

He smirked, finally looking at her. "Rude, huh? Takes one to know one."

Yuki's eyes narrowed. "Excuse me? I don't even know you, and you're already making assumptions."

"Right back at you," he shot back, his tone calm but condescending.

The tension between them was palpable. Yuki couldn't believe she was having another unpleasant encounter in one night. She glared at him, feeling a mix of anger and frustration. "Why are you even out here if you're just going to be a jerk?"

He sighed, slipping his phone into his pocket. "Sometimes it's easier to deal with people who don't expect anything from you."

Yuki was taken aback by the unexpected honesty in his words. Before she could respond, he turned and walked back inside, leaving her standing there, bewildered and still angry.

Kenma's POV:

Kenma had hoped for a few moments of peace on the balcony, away from the noise and chaos of the party. Instead, he found himself face-to-face with a girl who seemed just as irritated as he felt. Their exchange had been brief but intense, and he couldn't shake the feeling that their paths would cross again.

He made his way back inside, trying to blend into the background. He saw Kuroo waving him over, but he needed a moment to himself. He found a quiet corner and pulled out his phone, scrolling through his messages to distract himself.

As he did, he couldn't help but think about the girl on the balcony. She was different from the other party-goers, and that intrigued him, even if he didn't want to admit it. Maybe tonight wouldn't be a total loss after all.
