Yuki walked into the cozy, bustling cafe, the rich scent of freshly brewed coffee and sweet pastries filling the air. She scanned the room and spotted Daichi sitting at their usual corner table, waving her over with a smile.

"Yuki! Over here!" he called out, his grin wide and welcoming.

Yuki smiled back and made her way to the table, sliding into the seat across from him. "Hey, Daichi. How's it going?"

"Good, good. Busy with work, as usual. How about you? How's school treating you?" Daichi asked, taking a sip of his coffee.

Yuki shrugged. "It's been hectic. Classes are tough, and the projects are piling up. But I'm managing."

Daichi nodded, his expression thoughtful. "You're always good at handling stress. It's one of the things I admire about you."

Yuki chuckled. "Thanks. I guess I don't have much choice but to keep pushing through."

They chatted for a while about school and their mutual friends. Daichi was always a good listener, and Yuki appreciated how he genuinely cared about what was happening in her life.

"So, how's your friend group?" Daichi asked, leaning back in his chair.

Yuki sighed, rolling her eyes slightly. "They're all obsessed with this gamer named Kodzuken. I don't get the hype at all. They spend so much time watching his streams and talking about him. It's like they're in a cult or something."

Daichi raised an eyebrow. "Kodzuken? I've heard of him. Isn't he really popular?"

"Yeah, unfortunately. I just don't see the appeal. He's just a guy who plays video games. I mean, I like games too, but I don't understand why everyone worships him," Yuki said, frustration creeping into her voice.

"Maybe there's more to it than just the games. Sometimes, people connect with personalities or find comfort in these online communities," Daichi suggested.

"Maybe. But I still think it's a bit much," Yuki replied, shaking her head.

Daichi smiled. "Well, you don't have to like what they like. Just be yourself, and if they can't accept that, it's their problem."

"Thanks, Daichi. You always know what to say," Yuki said, feeling a bit better after their conversation.

They continued talking, reminiscing about old times and sharing updates on their lives. Yuki felt grateful for her friendship with Daichi, knowing that no matter what, he would always have her back.
