After leaving the balcony, Kenma wandered through the party, trying to stay as inconspicuous as possible. He was about to find another quiet spot when a girl with striking blonde hair and bright blue eyes approached him.

"Hey there, you look like you could use some company," she said with a playful smile.

Kenma raised an eyebrow, not entirely sure how to respond. "I'm not really in the mood for company."

She laughed, not deterred by his aloofness. "Well, too bad. I'm Katie, and I'm going to make you enjoy this party."

Kenma couldn't help but be amused by her confidence. "Kenji," he replied, deciding to use his alias.

Katie was persistent and engaging, and despite himself, Kenma found he was actually enjoying their conversation. They talked about everything from music to gaming, and he was surprised to find they had quite a bit in common.

As the night went on, they grew closer, and eventually, they decided to leave the party together. They ended up at Katie's place, where things quickly turned passionate. For once, Kenma allowed himself to get lost in the moment, enjoying the connection with someone who seemed genuinely interested in him.

Kenma woke up the next morning, sunlight streaming through the window. He glanced over at Katie, who was still asleep beside him. A wave of guilt washed over him. He knew he should say goodbye, but the thought of dealing with the awkward morning-after conversation made him cringe.

Silently, he got dressed and slipped out of her apartment, leaving without a word. As he walked down the street, his phone buzzed. It was Kuroo.

"Hey, Kenma! Where are you? Come meet me at the cafe," Kuroo's voice boomed through the phone.

Kenma hesitated, still feeling the weight of his hasty departure from Katie's place. "I'm not really in the mood, Kuroo."

"Come on, you need to get out and relax. It'll be good for you," Kuroo insisted.

With a sigh, Kenma relented. "Fine. I'll be there soon."

He hung up and made his way to the cafe, wondering if he'd ever see Katie again and what Kuroo had in store for him this time.
