Yuki's POV:
Yuki was sitting outside on the college lawn, enjoying a rare moment of sunshine with Jazz. They were both laughing about a recent class project, their conversation light and easy. Jazz, as always, was full of energy and enthusiasm, his excitement about gaming and streamers infecting everyone around him.
"Can you believe it?" Jazz said, his eyes wide with excitement. "Kodzuken's new stream was amazing last night! He's just incredible."
Yuki smiled, though a part of her felt a pang of guilt. She hadn't been able to watch the stream, too consumed by her thoughts of Kenma and their recent date. Before she could respond, she saw a familiar figure approaching from across the campus.
Her heart skipped a beat as she recognized Kenma. He walked with a purpose, his eyes locked onto her. Jazz followed her gaze and his face lit up with even more excitement.
"No way, is that...Kodzuken?" Jazz exclaimed, practically bouncing in his seat. "I can't believe it! He's here at our college!"
Yuki felt a mix of emotions as Kenma drew closer. She was happy to see him, but she could sense something different in his demeanor. When he finally reached them, he gave Jazz a polite nod before turning his full attention to Yuki.
"Hey, Yuki," Kenma said, his voice soft but firm. "Can we talk?"
Jazz looked between them, his excitement turning into confusion. "Wait, you two know each other?"
Yuki nodded, feeling a bit awkward. "Yeah, we've...met a few times."
Jazz's eyes widened even more, if that was possible. "That's so cool! You're so lucky, Yuki!"
Kenma's expression hardened slightly as he glanced at Jazz. "Yuki, can we have a moment alone?"
Jazz, picking up on the tension, quickly stood up. "Sure, no problem! I'll catch you later, Yuki."
As Jazz walked away, Kenma stepped closer to Yuki, his eyes intense. "Who was that?"
"That's Jazz, one of my friends," Yuki explained, feeling a bit defensive. "He's a huge fan of yours."
Kenma's jaw tightened. "I see."
Yuki noticed the shift in his demeanor, the possessive edge that hadn't been there before. It was as if seeing her with another guy, even if it was just a friend, had triggered something in him.
"Kenma, are you okay?" she asked, concerned.
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "I'm fine. I just...didn't like seeing you with him."
Yuki raised an eyebrow. "Jazz is just a friend. There's nothing to worry about."
Kenma nodded, though he still seemed uneasy. "I know. It's just...I can't help feeling like you're mine."
His words took her by surprise, a mix of possessiveness and vulnerability that she hadn't expected. She reached out and took his hand, squeezing it gently.
"Kenma, you don't have to worry. I'm here with you."
He looked into her eyes, the tension slowly easing from his face. "I know. I just...I care about you a lot, Yuki."
"I care about you too," she replied softly.
They stood there for a moment, the world around them fading away. It was just the two of them, their connection growing stronger with each passing second. Kenma's possessiveness was unexpected, but it also made her realize how much he valued her.
As they walked away from the campus together, Yuki felt a new sense of excitement and anticipation. She knew that being with Kenma was going to be a rollercoaster of emotions, but she was ready for the ride.
