I was sitting on the couch watching tv when Lexi ass bust thru my damn door
Lexi: I passed my finals and my classes
My mama came downstairs
Janet: Oh congratulations baby girl

She gave her a hug and kiss
Dj: You don't kno how to knock
Lexi: I'm sorry Im just happy Dj
Dj: So how many credits you got left
She came and flopped down next to me
Lexi: 30 that's easily two semesters I graduate next year
Dj: Aw shit look at my lil sis doin the damn thang
Janet: Watch yo mouth boy
Lexi laughed at me

Janet: Uh huh anyway I'm proud of you baby
She kissed Lexi forehead then sat next too us
Lexi: Mama you wanna go out to eat
Janet: Yea and invite August and Tati

I pointed at Lexi

I got up and walked upstairs to get dressed for this little last minute dinner. I heard Lexi leave and my mama came upstairs. She came in my room
Janet: You not gone be able to control her forever ya kno
Dj: Look man y'all got something to tell me.. Y'all pressin this too much

She walked out and went to go get dressed.

She met me at my apartment and we took her car to the restaurant
Tati: I told you August ain't no good
Lexi: That was in the past ion get why y'all still holdin on to that shit
Tati: When Dj found out what August did it won't be the past for him

She sighed
Tati: I didn't wanna tell you at first then I contemplated on how I was gonna...

She hit her blinker and made a left then sighed
Tati: Brandon told me why he was so pissed at August
I sat up a little
Lexi: What why
Tati: Because he did some foul shit to his sister.

Tati: Basically cheated on her and when she confronted him he hit hurt
I sat there for a minute and shook my head
Lexi: That don't sound like August
She stopped the car and made me jerk

Lexi: Look I don't think he hit her but at any rate I'm sure Brandon has had bad relationships in the past so that mean you should leave him too
She shook her head

Lexi: And that was dramatic so what he goes around beatin on every nigxa that did his sister wrong
She pulled off
Tati: You kno Dj would kill a nigxa if they put they fuckin hands on you
Lexi: Yea the day, week, month or within in the year he did it

About twenty minutes later we were at Benihana's. My mom and Dj beat us there. They were already seated and told the hostess about us
Hostess: Here you are ladies
She showed us to the table and handed us our menus. My mama and Dj got up and hugged Tati
Tati: Hey y'all
Dj: We ordered already
Lexi: We wasn't that late
Janet: Late enough I was hungry
We laughed at her. After we sat down our waitress came and took our order. Thirty minutes later me and Tati got our food.
Tati: I kno you happy girl
Lexi: I kno one more year man
Dj: I can't wait to see you walk across that stage
Janet: I'm so proud of you baby
Lexi: Thanks mama
My phone vibrated
Tati: Dj you gone eat yo shrimp
Dj: Duh Ti don't be greedy
I tuned them out when I saw August had texted me
August: Sorry I couldn't make dinner
Lexi: It's fine Tati and Dj been trippin anyway
August: Well we need to tell him
Lexi: We will I'm just not ready
August: I don't wanna push you but it's gone make it worse the longer we wait
Lexi: I kno August but I'm not ready you kno I love you I just can't with Dj dramatic ass
Dj: Lexi
I looked up
Lexi: Huh
Dj: Get up girl we bout to leave
Lexi: My bad y'all
I looked down and waited for a reply but he didn't. I know he wants to tell the world but I'm not ready for Dj to kno... any of it. When I was getting in the car he texted back.
August: I love you too baby but that's even more reason for us to tell him now but we can talk about it when you come over tomorrow
Lexi: Ok love you goodnight
Tati: Lexi you goin home or to my house
Lexi: Home I got stuff to do tomorrow
Tati took me home and I took a shower then went to bed. The next morning I was excited to spend the day with August. I pulled up in his driveway and knocked on the door. I waited for about five minutes before knockin again. He came to the door with nothing on but some Calvin Klein underwear on. I laughed
Lexi: What if I was somebody else
He smirked
August: But you ain't
He pulled me in the house and closed the door.
Lexi: You was still sleep
August: Naw just got out the shower
I sat my purse on his couch.
August: I need to put some clothes on huh
I smirked
Lexi: I like the view
He laughed
August: I bet you do. Come up here with me
We went upstairs to his room. He went into his closet. I looked around and seen boxes
Lexi: You movin
He came out his closet pulling and zipping up his pants and had a shirt tossed over his shoulder
August: Yea just closed a deal
He put on his shirt and I sat on his bed. He walked into his bathroom.
August: What you wanna do
Lexi: Ion know I was really just lookin forward to be bein with you
August came out the bathroom blushing. I laughed
Lexi: A mess
August: Well cool want something to eat baby
Lexi: Yea I'm starving
August: Iight c'mon
We went downstairs to the kitchen. I sat at the bar while August cooked breakfast for us. I brought up everything but Dj cuz I'm really not ready to tell him yet. After he was finish he brought our plates over to me. I poured us some juice
August: You not slick Lex
Lexi: What you talkin about
August: We gotta tell Dj
Lexi: August I kno and we will when the time is right
He laughed
August: Fuxin round' wit ya ass it's never gone be a right time
I frowned. He came over to my side of the bar and grabbed me by my waist. He leaned down and kissed my neck
August: I love you and I want the world to kno it baby
I turned around to him
Lexi: I do too baby just give me time
He smiled, kissed my forehead and went back to his side of the bar. After we ate we went in the living room, watched movies and chilled til I fell asleep on him. I woke up to my phone vibrating it was Dj
Lexi: I'll be back
I grabbed my phone and walked towards the front door then answered it
Dj: Why you ain't answer the phone earlier
Lexi: I was sleep Dj
Dj: This time of day
Lexi: I've been up all morning I just fell asleep watching movies
Dj: Oh iight
Lexi: That's all you wanted
Dj: I called you earlier for something but I got it handled I was just callin back to make sure you was good
Lexi: Ok well I'm good thanks for checkin Dj
Dj: Yea call me later
Lexi: Ok bye
Dj: Bye
We hung up and I walked back in the living room.
August: Man get the fux off my phone... Yo ass should've thought about that... Naw fux you
He hung up and turned around
Lexi: Everything good
August: Yea just stupid drama shit
Lexi: What time is it
He looked at his phone
August: A little after six
Lexi: Wanna go get something to eat
