These last couple of weeks been cool. Trying to fix all these damn files has been annoying.

He held up his coffee cup. I went into the break room put on a pot of coffee and called August while I waited

Lexi: Yes I just don't understand how all these files on and off computer got mixed up

The coffee was done

I poured me a cup and added my creamer and sugar

I laughed

We hung up and I grabbed my coffee and went back in his office

I sat down and started looking thru papers. I looked up and Chris was staring at me

We went back to work. A couple hours passed by
Chris: You want something to eat
Lexi: No I'm fine
I lied but I wasn't bout to give him the time of day
Chris: You sure... my step sister is on her way over here and she's gonna bring food

I caved if his sister is gonna be here then that can't hurt anybody. Forty five minutes later Chris got up and went to meet his sister to help her with the food. I texted August

Lexi: waitin on Chris sister to bring this pizza
I heard them laughing, coming off the elevator.

August: I am tho
Chris: Lexi this my step sister

I stood up and grabbed my bag and phone. They started arguing about something I just walked passed them. I left the building and went to get in my car.

I opened the car door and sat in the driver seat, she stopped the door from closing

My engine muffled the sound of her voice. She hit my backseat window on the drivers side and it bust. I stopped the car and got out

He says to Amber and they walk towards the building. I got back in my car and pulled off and went to get me something to eat. August called me on my way to the house.

August: Make it short

I pulled into the driveway
Lexi: No I'm already here
I turned off the engine and the front door to the house opened

He stood in front of me, preventing me from getting out of the car

His joking turned into anger. I put my hand on his stomach and pushed him back some

I closed the car door and we walked towards the house.

We walked upstairs to the room
Lexi: I wish I was... Atlanta is too damn small
He chuckled, I put my purse on the dresser and took off my shoes

I started taking off my clothes, getting ready to take a bath and explain to him what happen, while he ran me some bath water.

I stepped into the warm water and and sat down
Lexi: You put lavender in here
August: Yea

Lexi: You aint slick... I'ma pass out on you I'm so tired
He kissed my forehead

He dimmed the lights and left me to my lonesome.

He took her upstairs then me and Tati went in the kitchen

I opened the bottle of water I got out of the refrigerator

I took a sip of water and watched them argue

Dj sat the baby monitor on the island and poured him some soda in a glass

He sat his glass on the table

She continued while she walked off and went upstairs. He looked at me then let out a deep breath

He rolled his eyes and grabbed the monitor

We walked back into the living room and seen Elise crawling down the stairs backwards, we laughed and he looked down at the monitor then back up at her

Tati picked her up, coming back downstairs

Lexi: That was a quick nap
Dj: It always is
Tati: You ready for your birthday
Lexi: Yes girl I'm so hyped to be 23
She laughed
Tati: I bet you are

Tati: I'm not tellin yo ass
We laughed
Dj: What y'all doin for Yung birthday
Lexi: A simple party at the house you kno August not that big on celebrating
Dj: Yea I kno
Lexi: Y'all gone come thru
He started playin with Elise
Dj: Of course
Tati: You already kno girl but I can't wait for yo birthday
Lexi: I can't wait either cuz we bout too turn up
Tati: Two weeks from now we bout to get drunk as fux
We laughed and chilled for the rest of the day
