"I'm just saying it was completely unnecessary Robby!" I shout.

"He jumped at me!" He screams back.

"BECAUSE YOU MADE FUN OF HIS LIP!" Robby stands there in shock. I have NEVER yelled at Robby.

"Hey, Hey what's going on!" Johnny says rushing into the bedroom.

"Like you give a fuck." Robby responds.

"Don't start taking it out on me cause you have a shit day." Johnny counters.

"Robby stop being a dick! We don't need this right now, you're staring fights with people who won't hesitate to kick your ass and i'm not gonna be there to stop them next time!" Robby is mad but so am I. I told him about the deal I made with Hawk and he was not happy. Considering we had no one growing up, Robby was always really protective. I wasn't allowed to go on dates. I didn't want to end up like my mom...

I push my way past Johnny and Robby and lay myself down on the sofa. Robby's being so unreasonable, he's the reason we're in this mess with Hawk, because he couldn't control his anger. I'm finding a way out of this so it's doesn't affect anyone, of course Robby turns it around and somehow starts having a go at me for protecting him. I don't know what's going on in his head anymore.

Johnny moves into the front room with a slight caution. "I'm not gonna bite you." I say dryly.

"Yeah well, as you two love to point out I don't have any experience with kids." He moves over to me and stands by the end of the sofa. "Your mom was always so much better at this stuff than me."

"But she wasn't. We only had each other because she was out everyday with a new man." I groan.

"I'm sorry Kiddo. She never said about any of that... What happened today? Your mom said you two never argued."

I sat up so that there was enough room for Johnny to sit with me. "We don't. We've never fought like this. That kid. Miguel? He started apologising and me and Robby got worked up and really pissed off. Robby more so then me and started getting in Miguel's face. His friend was there ,Hawk, you must teach him too." Johnny nods as conformation. "I told them to leave it and they did. Until Robby made a comment about his lip. Hawk flipped and lunged for Robby but he moved just in time." I look Johnny right in the eyes for the first time since we got here. "Johnny, he stamped on his back. Then Robby grabbed his arm and went to snap it but I told him to stop just in time and he listened. Then we ran. but I made a deal to get him out of it and now he's blaming everyone but himself."

Johnny looked at me sympathetically. "Look Kiddo, he's been watching out for you all your life. Of course he's gonna be upset that you're doing things to fix his mistakes without consulting him first. He's just so used to protecting you. It's not your fault Y/n. Robby will come around. I'll talk to Miguel and Hawk, get them to keep their distance from you two." I nod silently. "Want to watch Bloodsport with me?" He edges with way too much excitement. "When I found out you kids were living with me I went out and brought The Internet. And an Apple so we can watch movies on all the illegal websites." I giggle at him which earns me a rare smile.

I must have fallen asleep on the sofa while watching Bloodsport with Johnny because when i wake up i'm in a room I don't recognise. The walls are covered with Guns N' Roses posters and Cobra kai motos. I walk out the door to see that Johnny is bunched up on the sofa. He must have picked me up and moved me into his room when I fell asleep.

I walk into my and Robby's room and throw a glass of water at him in his sleep. He wakes up instantly and wipes his face. "Morning to you too." I say before walking away.
