Aurelia was lounging on her bed, phone in hand, enjoying some much-needed downtime. The room was dimly lit by the soft glow of her LED lights , and the evening breeze wafted in through her open window. She scrolled through her social media feed, laughing at memes and catching up on the latest news in the entertainment world.
Suddenly, there was a soft thud from the window. Aurelia looked up to see Walker climbing in, a mischievous grin plastered on his face. "Walker! What are you doing here?" she exclaimed, surprised but not entirely displeased by his unexpected visit.
"I wanted to see you," he replied, his voice playful as he brushed off some imaginary dust from his clothes. "Thought I'd drop by."
She smiled, shaking her head as she went back to her phone. "You could have just texted, you know. Like a normal person."
Walker settled himself beside her on the bed, peering over her shoulder. "What are you looking at?" he asked, curiosity piqued.
Aurelia quickly tried to hide her phone screen, but it was too late. Walker had already glimpsed the fan edits of himself she had been watching. His grin widened as he teased, "Are those edits of me?"
"Shut up," Aurelia muttered, cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "It just popped up, okay?"
Walker gently took the phone from her, pretending to examine it closely. "Wow, I look pretty good," he said, feigning vanity. "You've got good taste, Aurelia."
She playfully shoved him. "Don't let it go to your head."
"Oh, it's too late for that," Walker replied, leaning back against the pillows with a mock-serious expression. "But don't worry, I'm here in the flesh now, so you don't have to rely on edits."
Aurelia rolled her eyes, but she couldn't help but smile. "You're impossible."
"I aim to please," Walker quipped, turning to look at her, his eyes warm and teasing.
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, Walker's presence adding a sense of ease to the room. Aurelia tucked her phone away, shifting to face him. "So, what else are you up to tonight, besides sneaking into my room and boosting your ego?"
Walker shrugged, his expression softening. "Just wanted to spend some time with my favorite person."
Aurelia's heart fluttered at his words, and she felt a rush of affection for him. "Well, you're my favorite person too," she admitted, feeling a warmth spread through her chest.
After a few more moments of playful banter, Aurelia shook her head and teased, "You know, you could have just come by the front door like a normal person."
Walker raised an eyebrow, feigning shock. "And face your dad? No way. Your dad is scary right now—normal Walker is okay, yay, but boyfriend Walker? Nah, uh. Women, he'd say, can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em."
Aurelia laughed, swatting his arm playfully. "He's not that scary. Well, maybe a little bit."
"Exactly," Walker said, leaning closer. "I'm not taking any chances."
Their eyes met, and the teasing atmosphere shifted, replaced by something warmer and more intimate. Walker brushed a stray strand of hair from Aurelia's face, his touch gentle and lingering.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked softly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Aurelia nodded, her heart racing as she leaned in. Their lips met, the kiss tender and sweet, filled with the unspoken affection they both felt. Time seemed to slow down, the world fading away until there was only the two of them, lost in the moment.
When they finally pulled apart, Aurelia smiled, her cheeks flushed with warmth. "You're a pretty good kisser," she admitted, her voice teasing but sincere.
Walker grinned, looking pleased with himself. "I'll take that as a compliment."
They settled back on the bed, the comfortable silence stretching between them once more. Walker wrapped an arm around Aurelia, pulling her close, and they lay there together, content in each other's company as the night deepened around them.
