The morning sun cast a warm glow over the bustling streets of the city as Aurelia and Walker strolled down the sidewalk, each sipping on a can of soda.
After the excitement of the movie premiere the night before, a leisurely walk felt like the perfect way to unwind and catch up.
"I still can't believe you were that calm during your speech," Walker said, glancing at Aurelia with a grin. "If it were me, I'd have probably tripped over my words."
Aurelia laughed, nudging him playfully. "You give yourself too little credit. You're always cool under pressure."
They wandered into a nearby park, the trees providing a refreshing shade as they continued their conversation.
The park was alive with the sounds of children playing and the distant hum of a carousel spinning in the background.
"So, any exciting projects ?" Walker asked, genuinely curious.
"Nothing yet," Aurelia replied. "Just a few scripts I'm looking at. But for now, I'm just enjoying the moment."
Walker nodded, taking a sip of his soda. "That's good. You deserve a break after all that hard work."
They found a bench and sat down, watching as a group of kids chased each other around a fountain. The atmosphere was peaceful, a stark contrast to the glamour and chaos of the previous night.
Aurelia stretched her legs, feeling relaxed in the company of her friend. "I still can't believe how many people loved the movie. It feels surreal."
"You were amazing in it," Walker said, his tone sincere. "And not just because you're my-. You really brought Scar you know back "
Aurelia felt a warmth spread through her at his words. "Thanks, Walker. That means a lot."
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment, the sound of the park surrounding them. Walker seemed to be deep in thought, and Aurelia was content just enjoying the simplicity of the day.
Suddenly, Walker turned to her, an unexpected seriousness in his eyes. "Hey, Aurelia, can I ask you something?"
"Sure," she replied, curious about the shift in his tone.
He took a deep breath, as if gathering courage. "Can I be your boyfriend?"
Aurelia blinked, caught off guard. "What?"
Walker's cheeks flushed slightly, but he held her gaze. "Can I be your boyfriend? I know it's kind of out of the blue, but I've been thinking about it for a while now."
Aurelia was momentarily speechless, her mind racing to process his words. She hadn't expected this conversation, especially not while drinking soda in the park.
"I just... I really like you, Aurelia," Walker continued, his voice steady despite his obvious nerves. "And I want to be more than just friends."
Aurelia felt a rush of emotions—surprise, excitement, and a hint of nervousness. She had always enjoyed Walker's company and admired his talent and kindness, but she hadn't allowed herself to think about the possibility of them being more than friends.
She looked into Walker's eyes, seeing the genuine sincerity there. "You really mean it?"
Walker nodded, his expression hopeful. "Yeah, I do. But if you don't feel the same way, that's okay. I just wanted to be honest with you."
Aurelia took a moment to consider her feelings. The more she thought about it, the more she realized that she did like Walker, more than she had initially allowed herself to admit.
" I'd like that," she finally said, a smile spreading across her face.
Walker's face lit up with a grin, his relief palpable. "Really?"
"Yeah," Aurelia replied, feeling a thrill at the thought of exploring this new chapter with Walker. "I really like you too.you know that " she said winking at him

Walker reached for her hand, intertwining his fingers with hers. "So, we're really doing this?"
Aurelia squeezed his hand, her heart light with happiness. "Yeah, we are."
