The London studio buzzed with activity as Manik sifted through a sea of music, searching for the next chart-topping hit. Suddenly, his phone's insistent ringtone pierced the concentration. He glanced at the screen, a flicker of surprise crossing his features before he swiped to answer.

"Hello?" he said, his voice curious.

"Manik," a familiar voice greeted him, sending a jolt of surprise through him. It was Ansh, Mr. Rathore.

"Mr. Rathore! Hi," Manik stammered, momentarily flustered. "I didn't expect your call."

A warm chuckle came from the other end. "Nothing wrong with a little surprise, is there?" Ansh replied smoothly. "Just wanted to check in. It's been a while since we last spoke - four days, to be precise."

Manik blushed, a touch of playful annoyance in his voice. "Well, you were a pretty busy man," he countered. "Didn't return any of my calls or messages."

Ansh chuckled again, the sound rich and inviting. "Ah, but you understand, don't you? My business operates out of Rajasthan, and when I'm away, meetings with investors, partners, planning - it's quite the whirlwind."

Manik hummed in agreement, the image of Ansh caught up in a whirlwind of business meetings painting a rather amusing picture in his mind.

"But," Ansh continued, his voice taking on a more relaxed tone, "I'm finally free for two days. No meetings, no pressing deadlines. Just a chance to catch my breath."

Manik perked up, his ears tingling with anticipation. "That's... good," he managed, trying to keep his voice casual. "Any plans for those free days?"

A hint of amusement laced Ansh's voice. "Actually, I was thinking," he began, a low chuckle escaping his lips. "If you're free, perhaps... we could grab dinner? Just the two of us?"

Manik's heart did a happy flip-flop in his chest. Dinner with Ansh, one-on-one? It was a tempting proposition, yet he couldn't help but play it cool.

"I don't know," he said, feigning uncertainty. "My schedule is pretty packed."

Ansh's chuckle turned deeper, sending a shiver down Manik's spine. "Hmm," he drawled, his voice taking on a husky quality.

"Well, let me see if I can clear some space in your schedule then. How about this - I'll pick you up at eight o'clock this evening? Sound like a plan?"

Manik could practically feel the heat rising to his cheeks. The husky voice, the suggestion of a date... it was all a bit overwhelming, yet undeniably exciting.

He tried to appear composed, but his racing heart betrayed him.

"M-maybe," he stammered, a hesitant smile spreading across his face. "I... I'll let you know."

He ended the call, his hand clutching the phone as if it held the key to a thrilling and unknown world. Taking a deep breath, he tried to calm his hammering heart.

Dinner with Ansh, a powerful, sophisticated man who had unexpectedly sparked a fire within him. This was uncharted territory, and Manik couldn't help but feel a thrill of anticipation course through him. He glanced at the clock - a little over three hours to go. Time to get ready for what could be a life-changing evening.
