Midari left without a word and Aki closed her eyes, slowly falling asleep. A few minutes later, when she was already asleep, someone peeked into the room. After lunch, Midari went back to the Boss's room. He made sure that the girl was asleep, then sat down in a chair and started looking through some documents again.
She woke up late in the evening, when it was long after dinner. Rubbing her eyes, she slowly sat up on the bed, scanning the room. She got up and slowly walked to the bathroom. After using the toilet, she left the room in search of Midari. Much to her surprise, there was no one near the door.
"Hmmm..." She smiled sinisterly for a moment. "Nooooo... too late to escape. Where would I go in the middle of the night with an empty stomach" She said, heading towards the kitchen.
No wonder, since she only ate breakfast today. While walking down the hall, she noticed a group of men in the distance. A shiver ran down her spine as she remembered she was walking around unattended. Aki slipped quietly and nimbly into the kitchen. She opened the fridge, found some food from dinner, warmed it up, and sat down at the counter to eat her desired meal. As she took the second bite into her mouth, Midari suddenly entered the kitchen. Aki was relieved to see her bodyguard.
"Why are you wandering around the property alone?" He asked, trying to sound neutral, but there was irresistible relief in his voice.
"I was hungry and you weren't there" She scoffed, continuing to eat as if nothing had happened. "You always find me anyway, so what's the problem?"
"Don't go anywhere without me. Now is not the best time to escape" He said menacingly.
"Something happened?" She was surprised.
"We have new 'employees' who don't know our rules yet. Such people always cause trouble at the beginning, so it's better that you don't come across them yourself" He explained, looking at her significantly.
Aki put the plate after eating in the sink, washed it and wiped it. As she passed Midari, she whispered a quiet, "I understand," and the two of them headed back to the room. While walking down the corridor, she noticed how the earlier group of men suddenly started walking towards them. The girl instinctively hid behind the security guard when Midari stood there, waiting to see what the men wanted to do. They stood in front of them and, staring at the scared Aki, started whistling.
"What do you want?" Midari asked menacingly, looking at the men as if they were trampled cockroaches.
"We? Nothing, nothing. We're just looking at her. And what is this child hiding behind you Sir?" They laughed.
"None of your business. She is beyond your reach. You have received your tasks, so get out of my sight" He growled angrily.
"Yes, of course, we won't bother you anymore" They replied with a slight smile, looking at the girl.
Midari threw one more warning glance at the Japanese, then started walking towards his boss's room. Aki, clinging to the edge of his jacket, waddled just behind him. For now, she decided to refrain from any antics. She walked into the bedroom with him and sat down on the bed in silence. He took out some documents and started looking through them. Aki began to wonder what her stay here would be like now.
(Maybe it would be better to go back to my father.... I wonder if he was worried about me for a moment....) she thought unconsciously, making a really pitiful face (Maybe I'll ask Takano to see him.... To explain....) When she realized what she had just thought, she almost burst into bitter laughter herself (But what for?)
After thinking about it for a while, she decided that there was no point in worrying so much. After all, for now, no one is harming her here, everyone is very polite and even nice towards her... And she can talk to them while working. Without taking her eyes off Midari, Aki began to grope a pillow with one hand, as soon as the soft victim fell into her claws, the poor thing had no chance. It was ruthlessly crushed, the shoulders and chin of the hunched girl effectively prevented any escape. Meanwhile, the brutal oppressor of the pillows, staring at the man immersed in his work, slowly began to fall asleep. Her shoulders sagged, her head began to feel heavier and heavier, and finally she fell limply onto the mattress.
When Aki was already fast asleep, Takano entered the room. He sat down on the edge of the bed next to her and gently began running his fingers through her hair.
"How are the new guys?" He asked without turning to Midari. It seemed that he was giving all his attention to the sleeping woman.
"Extremely lively and uncouth" The tall Japanese man put down the papers, his voice full of reprimand.
"As young people do" Takano continues to focus on Aki, smiling to himself.
"They set their sights on her"
The subordinate's response caused an immediate reaction. Takano, alternately turning pale and red with rage, clenched his teeth so tightly that the next words barely left his mouth.
"You warned them, right?" He growled, as if Midari had shown inappropriate behavior.
"Of course" Midari nodded with a slight bow. "But a reprimand would have a much better effect if it came from the Boss"
"I'll do it tomorrow" Takano frowned menacingly. "You can leave..."
Midari bowed again and left the room. Takano looked at the girl with a worried face and finally sighed. He went to take a shower and after a dozen or so minutes, he carefully climbed onto the bed. He snuggled against Aki's back, hugging her tenderly. As soon as she felt the familiar touch, she made herself comfortable in the pleasant embrace with a contented purr and fell asleep again. Takano smiled to himself and it wasn't long before he was sleeping peacefully, cuddled up next to Aki.
