How to deal with a runaway girl

Chapter 17

As usual, around five o'clock, Midari entered the Boss's room. This time he didn't have to wake him up because Takano was already ready to go. The man leaned over the sleeping girl, kissing her on the lips. After a while, they went to his office.

"How are things going?" Takano asked.

"I took care of everything. They won't dare touch the girl again" Midari replied.

"Excellent.... And I have a task..." He hesitated, remembering yesterday's reprimand.

"Request.... Don't leave her alone again, even if it's only for a few minutes. All right? Now go watch her. I'm counting on you" He said, sitting down at the desk.

"Yes, sir" Midari left the Boss's office and quickly went to the room where Aki is sleeping.

On the way, he took the documents he had to look through today and went inside. The girl was still sleeping, so he sat down on the chair next to the bed and started looking through the papers, rubbing his increasingly painful head from time to time.

Aki woke up a little before seven. She stood up, rubbed her eyes, and noticed Midari working next to her. After watching him for a moment, she got up from the bed, stood in front of him, and placed her hand on his forehead. The man looked surprised but didn't ask anything.

"Midari....You have a fever. Are you okay? Because you don't look good" She said, looking at him worriedly.

"I'm fine. I'll be fine soon. Now get changed because we have to go to the kitchen" He replied, getting up from the chair. Aki frowned at the Japanese before heading to the bathroom to get ready.

After a while, they were downstairs in the kitchen and, as usual, Aki helped prepare the meal. Onimori eagerly explained to her how today's dishes should be prepared. From the very beginning, the girl didn't know who Onimori really was, and the older man wanted it to stay that way. Aki couldn't concentrate because she kept looking at Midari, who looked worse and worse every minute. She quietly asked one of the Japanese for a favor. After breakfast, she received a bag from him with some things. She thanked him and headed towards her bodyguard.

"Midari, let's go to your room" Aki suddenly blurted out. The man opened his eyes wide.

"For what purpose...?" He narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"You'll see when we go. I found a new job, so don't complain, just go!" She said firmly.

The Japanese sighed and then led her to his room. Once they got inside, Aki placed the bag on the table next to his bed.

"Get undressed"

Midari stood frozen, having no idea what she could mean.

"Why are you standing there? Are you afraid for your virtue or what? Jump out of your clothes one by one!"

"What am I afraid about?" He asked in disbelief.

Aki looked him up and down.

"Hmm, that's right, someone who looks like that probably lost his virginity before he was able to remember it, there was no question"

As Midari stood there, he didn't even think about undressing, until Aki couldn't stand it anymore.

"Well, don't stand like a pole! At least take off your jacket and get into bed. Unless you want me to scream and drag Takano here" Aki blackmailed.

Midari made a menacing face, but the girl didn't even move. He slowly took off his suit and lay down on the bed. Aki covered him with the blanket, took a cooling compress from the bag and placed it on his forehead. She then took a glass of water and some pills and gave them to Midari to take.
