Fourth's POV^~^

I was listening to the teacher's lesson, the last class of the day. I really love these classmates; they're so different from my high school ones. Back then, I was bullied terribly, even beaten, and I still carry those marks. That's why I changed colleges; my old classmates were so disruptive, and it wasn't just them-the whole school was a nightmare.

As the class finally ended, I looked at the watch on my wrist. It was 1:30 PM. I took my book from the table and gathered all my stuff, packing my bag. Just as I was about to get up, Dunk grabbed my wrist.

"Fourth, can we drop you home? I mean, we want to know where you live," Dunk said, smiling.

"Okay, why not!" I replied, smiling nervously and glancing around. "Wait, I'm new, but Gemini is also new. Why aren't you visiting his house?" I asked, confused.

Satang rolled his eyes. "Fourth, you know how weird he is," he sighed.

"Is he?" I replied, noticing Gemini had already left the room. I hurried to the stairs and saw him descending.

"Gemini?!" I called out. Satang, Dunk, and Winny followed me to the stairs. Gemini stopped for a moment and looked back at me. Dunk rolled his eyes in frustration, Satang sighed and looked up, and Winny crossed his arms.

Pressing my lips together, I broke the silence and approached Gemini. "Hey! Can we hang out?" I asked, grabbing his left hand with both of mine. He stared at me without any expression, then glanced at Satang before looking back at me.

Suddenly, some students rushed past, and one of them pushed me. I slipped, but Satang grabbed my wrist, steadying me. I touched the wall, realizing Gemini was right below me, and I was so close to him. Satang abruptly let go of my hand, causing me to slip again. This time, Gemini grabbed my waist before I could fall down the stairs.

I removed his hand from my waist. "Ah... umm," I smiled nervously, unsure of what to say. He put his hand on my shoulder and came closer to me.

"Please go fuck yourself, and stop following me, thank you so much," he whispered in my ear, then pushed me back slightly before heading downstairs.

"Foul" Satang muttered, then walked away.

"We're going to your house, come on," Dunk said, rolling his eyes again. Winny also left, arms crossed. Rubbing my neck with a confused look, I called out, "Ahh, wait!" and awkwardly followed them.

After some time, with them trailing behind me, I couldn't help but voice my frustration. "Why is he so weird?" I said, turning to face them.

"What about you? You're also weird like him. Otherwise, if you know he's weird, why did you approach him?" Winny shot back from behind me. I turned my head and stopped walking. They stopped too, with Winny now standing in front of me.

"I don't want him in my group, that's final," Winny declared, pushing me lightly before continuing on his way. I quickly rushed forward and took the lead again.

Finally, we reached my house. They followed me up to the door, and I pressed the bell. A moment later, my mom opened the door, her face lighting up with surprise. "Who are they?" she asked, smiling in confusion.

"Mae... these are my new friends and my group," I explained.

"Aoo! Come in, why are you waiting? Come!!" she said, her smile widening. They smiled back and greeted her politely.

"Sawadee khrub, aunty," they chorused.

My mom replied, "Sawadee kha," and invited them to sit on the couch. "Have lunch with us, na?" she offered in her sweet, soft voice.

"Okay, na khrub," they replied, smiling happily.

Mom sat in front of them. "Aunty, I'm Winny, the group leader," Winny said, smiling.

"Aoo... Ah, wait! I guess the curry is burning. I'm coming, you guys go to his room and rest for a moment," Mom said, rushing to the kitchen.

At Gemini's place

Gemini's POV

I grabbed the handle of the door and opened it. As I stepped inside, I saw my aunt sitting on the couch, watching TV. "Where have you been?" she asked as I walked toward my room.

"You know where I was," I replied in a cold voice.

"Huh? So you have so much pain in your mouth that you couldn't say you were at school? Is this how your mom taught you to talk to your elders?" she said, putting the remote on the table.

"My mom died when I was five years old. Back then, I didn't even know what dying meant. You raised me, so you should know who taught me," I replied, my voice tinged with bitterness.

Without waiting for her response, I went to my room and locked the door behind me. I sank to the floor, feeling the weight of our conversation. This was the second time I had spoken to her like this.

I had never talked to her this way before, and it left a knot in my stomach. Memories of my mother and the years with my aunt flooded my mind, mixing with the guilt and anger that simmered within me.

She always scolds me, locks me in my room, hits me, and even her elder son, Luke, constantly disturbs me. I've told her about this countless times, but she never listens. Her elder sister was the best mom ever. Yes, her sister, my mom, who left this world, leaving me.

Every day, I come back from school and wash all the dishes. Recently, I changed high schools because of her bastard son. Luke and I were at the same school, but he's in 12th grade while I'm in 11th. A few days ago, I was sitting on the field with friends, discussing our group work.

Luke came up to me and said, "Oi? Mom called me and said that she and dad are going to their friend's daughter's wedding ceremony and they'll be home late.

So, just come home, and today I won't let you go, bitch." He walked off with his friend, dribbling a basketball.

My friends were shocked when they heard Luke's words. They didn't just pass through my ears; they coursed through my blood, igniting a fury I struggled to contain.

"So, you're trying to protect yourself from your cousin?" one of my friends said, incredulous. Another laughed, "Lol, you're gonna be fucked up by your own cousin?"

All my friends started laughing, and I couldn't bear it any longer. I stood up and punched Luke square in the face. "Why did you say this in front of my friends?" I shouted at him as he lay on the grass, stunned. The laughter of my friends died down, replaced by an uneasy silence.

The next few days were a blur of rumors spreading through the school about me and Luke. Whispers followed me everywhere, making the situation unbearable.

Eventually, Aunt Lia heard about the incident. Her reaction was swift and brutal. She beat me, ignoring my pleas and explanations. Her face twisted with anger, she decided that changing schools was the best solution, as if that would erase the damage done.
