"Don't open the door if someone knocks, okay?"
Tenko nodded, his arms tightening around his hold on your torso.
"And if someone does knock," Aizawa pointed at the phone he placed on top of the living room's coffee table, "use the phone over there and call Oboro. His name has a cloud picture so click it and wait for us to answer. Okay?"
"Okay..."
"If you get hungry and we're still not home, open the fridge and take the natto there with some rice. I placed it somewhere high up so your cat doesn't grab it when you open the fridge—"
"Hey," you interrupted. "Are you implying that I'll steal food from my boy?"
How dare he mischaracterize you. You steal for Tenko, not from him!
You fumed. "If you're going to be a fretting grandma then at least get your facts straight, or just don't involve my existence in your sentence at all!"
Aizawa laid his hand on top of your head, drowning out all of your angry shouts with a special scratch on the ears. "Sorry, I didn't mean to imply you're a glutton, but you didn't eat your cat food earlier so I have to let Tenko set some restrictions on you instead."
Damnit. You can't believe you're so weak for Aizawa's pats. Nevermind if he called you whatever he called you—as long as you're getting that small, unnoticeable smile as he stroked your head, then you're fine being called a glutton or something.
Tenko looked down at you who savored Aizawa's scratches. "They didn't eat?"
"No way would I eat something made up for cats," said you, currently the cutest cat ever, forever the supreme being of everything above all creatures.
"What do I do if they get hungry?" Tenko asked.
"There's some leftover cat food on top of the counter. I pushed it near the sink so the cat doesn't grab it—"
"Again with the accusations!" You hissed.
"Geez, alright," Aizawa snapped his mouth shut.
Him and Tenko exchanged glances at each other, until Tenko giggled and Aizawa smiled.
The three of you stood by the front door, ready to see off Aizawa who was not budging an inch from the door.
It took a couple more instructions before you yowled at him to leave. What else were you supposed to do? He went on and on about where the simplest of things should be, like if Tenko is bored the television is right there on the living room, or if Tenko feels like the gloves are getting stuffy there's a spare on top of the coffee table, or if Tenko wants to play with you he's free to get any kind of toys near the umbrella racks.
If Tenko this, if Tenko that, Tenko, Tenko, Tenko. Gosh.
You understood Aizawa's fixation on Tenko's safety and happiness (you too, would want that) but everything he stated were things he already told you and Tenko even while he was in the shower!
At this rate, he won't even be able to go to school in time, which is a bad thing. You need Aizawa to go back home early, which means he needs to go to school early too, cause what would you do in the house if he got into detention because he was late in class? Nothing! You'd be bored without the handsome man by your side.
Oh, if Shirakumo comes home with him later too then that's a plus. You haven't seen the young man since yesterday night, and you thought that might have been on purpose, since Aizawa was muttering 'Kumo's probably sleeping in so I can take my time in the house for a while'.
