despite your history with hyunjin, you've stayed friends. sure, some things were a little awkward, but nothing you couldn't avoid with a large friendgroup.

you and hyunjin dated a while ago for about two years before breaking up. you just felt like you fought too much, and even if you enjoyed being with him, it was for the best.

so even despite all that, you all decided to go on a group trip when hyunjin would come back from vacation.

it would be just you, hyunjin, changbin, ryujin, chaeryeong, seungmin and jeongin.

or so you thought.

you see, hyunjin went abroad for a versace photoshoot in italy, in which he was announced versace global ambassador.

and there, he apparently met a girl named ningning, also a versace ambassador.

obviously, you didn't feel too comfortable about it, but who were you to judge? you are his ex after all. of course it's going to seem weird to you.

but you felt a certain jealousy of her, not sure what about her exactly made you envious of her, but you just were.

sure, you still liked hyunjin a little but that didn't mean you could stop him from being with her, but what really ticked you off was what happened on the group trip.

you were all sitting comfortably in the comfort of seungmin's beach house's living room.

you were all chitchatting and laughing around when hyunjin finally arrived an hour later than he was supposed to be there.

he quickly said something to seungmin before joining you on the couch. "hey [name]."

"hey" you smile softly before looking down to shut your phone, then looking back at hyunjin.

"so, how was your trip?" asks jeongin before you can as he joins the two of you on the couch.

hyunjin starts his long story about italy and the versace photoshoots and working with donatella.

you don't really pay much attention, not until he starts about his new "girlfriend".

you only met her once, but honestly, how much dumber can hyunjin get? dating some girl he met from a photoshoot.

and the thing was, he would act all softy-cuddly and couple-ish with her, like some stupid puppy.

he angered you. it upset you how he could date such a girl. she was annoying too, clinging to him every time he was in a 5 meter radius of her or anyone else.

how could he ever date her after dating you? was she better than you?

"hey, are you okay, [name]?" asks jeongin with a tiny chuckle.
