the sound of laughter filled the warm breeze of a summer night. the water of the surprisingly big jacuzzi bubbled noisily, but it wasn't as noisy as your husband and friends.

you handed out drinks to everyone, watching as minho lounged with his usual confidence, even though you knew better.

his arm draped around the edge of the jacuzzi as he nodded and grinned with every joke seungmin and changbin made, the five other boys of the group laughing along.

you admired how in-control he looked  and how toned his chest was. his hair was damp and slightly curled at the ends, and his sharp jawline glistening with water droplets.

he was chuckling and smiling, looking the most relaxed he's been all week. "babe, you gonna get in or are you just going to continue glaring?" he spoke up, eyeing your figure up and down.

you raised a brow, a knowing grin plastered on your lips as you crossed your arms. "and what if i'm just enjoying the view?" you walked over to him, slightly bending over to get your face closer to his. "you look pretty comfortable for someone who can't even swim."

he rolled his eyes with sarcasm, running a hand through his hair. "it's a jacuzzi, not the ocean or a pool" he shoots back, "i'll be fine."

hyunjin was the first to notice you standing there, leaning back against the edge of the jacuzzi with a grin. "are you just going to stand there all night?" he asked, a teasing note in his voice. "come on, it's nice in here."

you smirked, crossing your arms. "i don't know. i was just waiting for the right moment to join."

"don't think too much about it," changbin chimed in from his spot in the water, his tone casual. "just join us already."

"i don't think that's possible anymore. all the seats are full" felix remarks, sighing. "well, someone's going to have to give up their seat."

"dibs not me! i'm too lazy to move" hyunjin calls out after him, a finger on his nose as if to claim he wasn't getting up.

"she could just sit on my lap" minho tapped his thigh under the water, casually but deliberately. "right here, baby. problem solved" he said with a grin of nonchalance, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

your eyes slightly widen, "minho!" you hiss quietly, half-mortified and slapping his shoulder to shut him up.

"what?" his smirk widened, and his tone turned mock-innocent. "you're my wife. it's only fair."

the others did not help your case in the slightest, hooting and whistling as if he'd just pulled the move of the century.

"wow, possessive much?" seungmin teased, shaking his head.

hyunjin snorted, splashing some water toward minho. "do you have to be this obvious about it?"

"i think it's sweet" said a grinning felix.
