you never really saw kim seungmin as a friend of yours.

you and seungmin met through mutual friends, specifically your older brother leeknow, but you didn't exactly click like everyone thought the two of you would.

yet the odd thing was, you found him somewhat attractive in a way. the first time you told your best friend chan that — who pinky promised to keep it secret — he was shocked.

he was shocked because all the two of you would do was argue.

because wherever you are, there is kim seungmin. and wherever kim seungmin is, there is competition and arguing. and right now it was about who would sleep on the one bed in your shared hotel room.

you see, leeknow planned a full-week trip to italy in which you and all the others — bangchan, han, ryujin and nayeon — would be sleeping at a luxury hotel, which was reserved by bangchan, meaning he had complete control over who shared rooms.

and the little bastard decided to put you and your nemesis together, knowing you had a thing for him.

"i'm definitely not sleeping next to you" you say as you stare at the only bed in your luxurious room.

"you think i'd ever let that happen?"seungmin snorts and sets his bag on the bed.

you scoff with a laugh, "what do you think you're doing?" you say as you set your own bag on the bed.

"well, there's no way i'm sleeping on the floor"

"and you think i will?" you cross your arms.

"yes, actually, because i'm not sharing" he raises his brows, beginning to unpack some of his things.

you scoff, "i need proper beauty sleep more than you do" you argue.

"womp womp." seungmin shrugs, leaving you so unbelievably mad at him. you begin to scroll on your phone and avoid talking too much to him.

for your first night, you'd all be having a nice dinner together at the hotel's restaurant that had a bar.

you changed in the bathroom, struggling to zip the back of your long-sleeved dress. you just decided to put on your shoes, makeup and accessories on before walking out to ask for help.

what you didn't expect, was for seungmin to look so...sophisticated. collared button-up, dress pants, loafers. he looked angelic.
