Melissa's POV
"Luciiii you excited to finally go to the adventure park?" I asked, sitting on the deck of the boat with Lucinda.
"Not as excited as Aphmau over there," I look over my shoulder to see Aphmau squealing at Aaron. "But don't get me wrong I'm definitely excited!! Haven't gone to an amusement park in agess."
"Ooooh this'll be fun then!" Suddenly the smell of numerous baked goods infiltrated my nose. "Oh my Irene that smells so good! LEMME HAVE SOME."
"Babe wait! Don't eat too much you're going to throw up on the rollercoasters," I ignored her warning and gobbled up all the snacks that I could.
"That was sooo good, you should try some Luci, ughh I'm so full now."
"Haha, glad you enjoyed it, but I think I'll hold back. I want to save my stomach for the rollercoasters."
"Okayy, I'll save some for later just in case, wanna cuddle in our room till we get there? We have a long day ahead of us."
*Chuckle* "Ohh you know me so well," Lucinda said smiling, I absolutely love her smile.
Lucinda's POV
"BABE WAKE UP WE'RE HEREEEE!!!" I realize I fell asleep while we were cuddling, I guess I was too comfortable.
"I'm up! Now let's go have some fun."
Still can't get that lunch with Katelyn out of my head, it's been days. I don't like how she was so judgmental of Melissa when she hasn't even really met her.. I want to tell Melissa what actually happened, but I feel like that'd just make her feel bad. I should clear things up with Katelyn either way though, she's a good friend and I might have overreacted a bit-
"Babe.. Babe!! Luci??! You there?" Melissa shook me back to reality.
"Oh yes sorry, it was nothing I just zoned out for a bit."
"You only get like this when something's on your mind, don't be afraid to talk to me about it. Remember, I'm here for you I'll always be. Buttt on a higher note we're officially in the park now!" Melissa could read me like a book. I really do appreciate her help, but I'm not sure it'll be the best if I tell her this.
"Sooo what do you want to do first?" I pushed back my thoughts from earlier so I could enjoy the day.
"Haunted house! I-" Aphmau interrupted Melissa.
"THAT!" She shout pointing at a huge blue rollercoaster.
"W-we're going on that?" Melissa asked with fear in her eyes.
"Scared?" Aaron said trying to get Melissa riled up.
"Me? Scared? Ha! I'm not scared of nothing," Well that was obviously a lie.
"Remember when I was scared of rollercoasters when we were kids?"
"Oh-hoh yeah I remember that, I made you get on a lot of them and I- Ooh- Well this is payback isn't it.."
"I thought you said you weren't scared."
"I'm not! It's just.. the roller coaster is blue andd.. I don't like the colour scheme!" Most definitely the worst lie I've heard come out of Melissa's mouth.
I was quite excited as we got in line, I did always love rollercoasters especially as a kid. Aphmau was super excited too.
"Sooo Mel, you're scared aren't you?"
"Nuh-uh! I loved coasters as a kid, I'm sure this one will be super fun."
"Alright, if you sayy so, you're sitting with me though."
"Not arguing with that."
"All right, next!" The worker spoke opening the doors to the coaster.
Looks like we're takin off now!
*Screams from everyone while rollercoaster goes on*
That was fun, glad we went on that first. Never mind- I look over to see Melissa looking more nauseous than ever.
"Melissa are you okay?" I asked with worry.
"Oh my Irene, I think I'm gonna be sick. I take back every time I forced Aaron to go on coasters with me as a kid," Melissa blurt with gags in between her words.
"Melissa! You used to love roller coasters, what happened?" Aaron joked trying to get back at Melissa.
"I got old or something!" *Ugghhhh*
"Or maybe it's because you stuffed yourself full of muffins earlier, you should've listened to me," I added.
"You were right, I should've held back on the sweets, I regret all my decisions!" she realized that a little to late though as she puked in a bush a couple seconds later.
I look the other direction and see Aph and Garroth looking as sick as Melissa. Ughh not them too. We're going to be out of commission for the whole day at this rate. We should probably take them all back to the boat. Those 2 did seem to have fun regardless though.
"All right guys, let's go back to the boat for a little bit and then we can do the rest of the park," Aaron said with a slight laugh.
"Sounds like a good idea, I'll help Melissa back."
"I've got Aph and Garroth, have fun with your girlfriend Melissa!" Aaron shout teasing Melissa.
"Yeah yeah, and you have fun with yours too. I'm totally stalking you and Aph in the haunted house tommorow."
"Not if we stalk you guys first!"
"That will never happen! I'm the master at shipping, you've only just started," Melissa exclaimed with a smirk.
"Alright, that's enough talking from you, you need to rest if you want to go to the haunted house tonight," I said with a caring tone.
"Whyy do you always have to be right?" Her complaining was adorable.
I helped Melissa back to the boat where I laid her on the bed and made sure she was okay.
A/N: I've been pretty motivated to write this since a climax is coming soon, so there may be an influx of chapters coming out hehe. Won't say much more than that though!
