Melissa's POV
"I hope this isn't rude to ask, but how come you can't heal yourself? I know it's possible to heal with magic," I asked, wrapping her elbow in bandages.
"It's not rude at all, I'm glad you're curious. So, healing magic uses the witches or warlocks own energy and transfers it to the person they're healing. You can't heal yourself since you can't really feed yourself your own energy, if you could it'd create an infinite loop breaking magic itself. It's also extremely dangerous to use as if you're not careful and use it too much, it could drain your life force, leading to extreme injury or worse.. I myself don't deeply know how to use it because of that reason, I mainly specialize in potions anyways. It also requires love which I haven't had much of.." Lucinda explained, honestly I was only half listening, I just couldn't help zoning into how soothing her voice was.
"I see, that makes sense! Thanks for explaining it to me, I've been wanting to learn more about magic and witches for a while now."
"Of course and I want you to teach me about werewolves too," She paused for a moment, chuckling to herself. "Butttt we'll have to do that a little later, I told Garroth and Kim I'd meet them at the beach later, wanna come? I'm sure they'll be fine with it!"
"I'd love to, not like I have anything to do today anyways."
"Alright! Let's go then."
Oh my Irene, Lucinda just invited me to do something with her!! Ahhhh I'm so excited, I just have to grab my bag and-
"Hey sis, can we talk?" Aaron asked
"I'm so sorry but can we talk later? I'm going to the beach with Lucinda."
"No no, you talk with Aaron, you can just meet us at the beach later! Here's my number, call me when you're about the leave," Lucinda gave me her number and left.
I stared at her beautiful self as she walked out. Ohh no, I'm blushing again aren't I, all she did was give me her number. It isn't that special, I thought I got this under control. I hope Aaron doesn't notice..
Aaron's POV
Aww I haven't seen Melissa blush like this in forever, I was going to talk to her about my nightmares cause its been weighing down on me and Aph.. But that can wait! She's always pestered me about my love life and it's my turn to do the same.
*Internal evil chuckle*
"Sooo Melissa what's up with you and Lucinda hmmmmmm"
"Me and Lucinda? Pfft, what are you talkingg about nothing is going on between us," Melissa said obviously panicked. The blush on her face only grew redder.
"Then why were you cuddling with her last night then."
"WHAT how do you know that?? Were you spying on me? Stalker! Hey- I'm the one who's supposed to be stalking you and Aph heh"
"I'm not as weird as you sis, dad told me and besides it's my turn to pester you now ehehe"
"Ugh, fair enough. Well to be honest, I really don't know what we are yet, it's too soon to tell and last night she just needed comfort," Melissa expressed in a saddened tone.
"You don't have to tell me everything, now you go have fun with your girlfriend."
"SHE'S NOT MY GIRLFRIEND.. yet ehe, see ya Aaron!"
I'm glad she was able to find someone again, especially after her last girlfriend.. And I know Lucinda is a good person.
Melissa's POV
I can't believe dad already told Aaron, this isn't going to be a secret for long will it. I guess this is what I deserve for bothering Aaron all the time. I should walk faster, Lucinda's probably waiting for me.
*THUD*
"Oh my Irene I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention to where I was going," I said frantically, putting my hand out to a guy with dark brown hair and red eyes. He completely ignored my hand.. I looked over to see another person with him who had black hair with a faded blue streak in it and light grey eyes.
"Just watch where you're going next time," the guy with dark brown hair said annoyed. "Stupid werewolf.." He muttered under his breath, it was just loud enough that I could make out what he was saying.
Wow, well he was rude.. Oh well I'll probably never see him again.
???'s POV
"That was Melissa Lycan.. She could be a good asset to us."
"Hm? How so? She just seemed like a regular werewolf to me."
"She's the ultima's sister, we could use her to get to him."
"In that case I'm all for it, let's see where she goes, maybe we can catch her in a good moment."
We walked behind her until she reached her destination. I kept watch as my partner scoped out the area.
"Wait... Lucinda's here too and Melissa is getting all close to her. Does that mean?" I whispered to myself.
I felt a sudden sense of jealousy as I saw Lucinda and Melissa hugging. Using Melissa will be more fun than I thought.
A/N: I think it might finally be time to introduce some drama that wasn't actually in Starlight. It's probably pretty obvious who I'm alluding the people to be but yk it's just for the drama. The next few chapters may be normal but it won't be for long. And with that I'm out! See you in the next chapter.
