(A/N! Pretend that in this AU, Charlie and Vaggie didn't get kicked out by Adam, and that Charlie didn't mind that Vaggie was an angel, and Vaggie and Charlie just had a little small talk and everything worked out. :D)

(Y/N) POV

I couldn't even tell you how many years it had been since Lucifer fell. Time had a way of losing its meaning when you were trapped in a place like Heaven—where everything felt eternal yet painfully stagnant. Losing him had changed me completely. I was bitter and angry, especially toward Heaven for what they did. I'd spent countless nights trying to bargain with the higher-ups, pleading for answers, for some way to bring him back. Each time, they shrugged me off like I was nothing.

Then one day, everything shifted again. Sera, a fellow Seraphim who I still connected with, stood up and announced something that caught everyone off guard.

"We're going to have visitors coming to Heaven to talk about the upcoming extermination," she said, her voice steady.

I blinked, feeling a jolt of confusion. Visitors? Heaven rarely entertained guests; it was almost unheard of. My heart raced with questions. What could be so important?

Emily, my bright-eyed friend, was practically bouncing off the walls. "Oh my gosh, this is amazing! We never have visitors! This is gonna be the best!" she squealed, her excitement contagious.

I couldn't help but chuckle at her joy, but I felt a heaviness settle in my chest. Sera and I chatted for a bit, but then she dropped the bomb: I wasn't allowed to attend the meeting.

"You're not part of the high council, (Y/N). I'm really sorry," she said, looking genuinely apologetic.

I nodded, trying to hide my disappointment. Moments later, the news came that the visitors had arrived, and Sera and Emily rushed off to greet them. I lingered in the hallway, my curiosity eating away at me. Who were they? What did they want?

I crept closer, pressing my ear against the cool marble wall, but the voices inside were just muffled sounds. My heart raced with anticipation and dread.

Finally, the meeting wrapped up, and the visitors stepped out. As they emerged, my breath hitched. There were two of them. One was an exorcist-looking angel with a missing eye—a fallen angel, maybe? The other, though, stole my breath away. She looked just like Lucifer, with his striking blonde hair and piercing eyes that felt like they could see right through me.

"Hello, girls! I'm (Y/N), one of the lower-ranked Seraphim. It's great to meet you! Are you enjoying your stay so far?" I said, trying to keep my voice light.

"Yes! It's wonderful so far, ma'am. Nice to meet you!" the blonde girl said, her voice warm and inviting.

"Same here," the one-eyed girl said, a little more reserved.

"Oh, no need for formalities! Just call me (Y/N)," I said, smiling. She returned the smile, and for a moment, the tension in the air faded.

"This is Vaggie. She's my girlfriend!" the blonde girl exclaimed, pointing to her companion.

"And I'm Charlie. Charlie Morningstar!" she added with a bright grin, and my heart sank.

Morningstar. My mind raced. Could it really be?

"Wait—Morningstar? As in Lucifer Morningstar?" I blurted out, my voice barely above a whisper.

"Yep, that's me. I'm his daughter," Charlie replied, a mix of pride and sadness in her eyes.

Stunned, I stood there trying to process this revelation. Lucifer had a daughter? How had I not known? The implications twisted my insides. Lilith, his wife, had always been a point of envy for me. When he fell, it felt like the light had gone out of my world, and now here was a part of him standing right in front of me.

"(Y/N)...? Are you okay?" Charlie asked, concern creeping into her tone.

I shook myself out of my thoughts. "Y-yeah... I'm fine. Just... surprised."

A silence stretched between us, but it was charged with something—an unspoken understanding of loss. "You knew my father, didn't you?" Charlie asked, her voice soft.

I nodded slowly, memories flooding back—moments of laughter, warmth, and light. "Yeah, I did. He... meant a lot to me," I admitted, my voice trembling slightly.

"Me too," Charlie said quietly, her expression filled with longing.

Vaggie leaned closer, a fierce look on her face. "What do you think about what they're planning? The extermination?"

The word hit me like a punch. Extermination. It felt like a death sentence for so many of us who were just trying to exist. "I hate it," I replied, my voice rising. "It's a betrayal of everything we're supposed to stand for. We're meant to protect, not destroy."

Charlie's eyes sparked with determination. "Then we need to do something about it."

A rush of adrenaline shot through me. This was my chance to step out of the shadows of grief and anger. "What do you have in mind?" I asked, my heart racing at the thought of action.

"We need to gather allies," Charlie said, her voice steady. "There are others who believe in what my father fought for. We can't let them wipe out those who dare to be different."

Vaggie nodded, looking fierce. "We're not alone in this. There are whispers of dissent. If we can rally some support, maybe we can stop this extermination."

A fire ignited in my chest. For the first time in years, I felt a sense of purpose stirring inside me, breaking free from the chains of despair.

"I'm in," I declared, my voice steady. "Whatever it takes."

Charlie beamed, her smile lighting up the dim hall. "Together, we can make a difference. We can honor my father's legacy."

As we stood there, united in our resolve, I felt a flicker of hope. This wasn't just about revenge; it was about carving out a new path—one that celebrated the ideals Lucifer had once fought for.

Little did I know, this was just the beginning of a journey that would test our limits, shake the foundations of Heaven, and force us to confront the darkness within ourselves.

In that moment, I made a silent vow: I wouldn't let Lucifer's legacy fade into nothing. I would fight for the truth, for the love that had once burned so bright. And maybe, just maybe, we could bring some of that light back into this world.
