1.) Test of Time

I am just another tick mark on your bedpost... A notch or some other. Yes, indeed the forgotten jester. I'm just a number to add to your body count. Along with so many empty promises, too many to recount. All of my hopes and dreams of us together, down the drain. All of it, replaced with a debilitating kind of pain. With doubts and fears about a happily ever after. I feel so stupid, I should have known better. My poetry, my songs, my letters and my rhymes. I'm sure you'll forget them all, and fail the test of time.
