All I tried to do was give you my best. But if anything I was treated like an invisible guest. If anything you treated me like at most family gatherings. I'm barely there and I'm not even that interesting. No one bothers to figure out what's below the surface. Treating me like I was just supposed to provide some kind of service. Just to listen, just to buy you things. Who knew this friendship would come with all kinds of strings. Strings I had to find myself, strings I didn't know were there. But now I know a friend like me is actually quite rare.
