Here, we dive deeper into the story's origins.
Skyline Hearts is a true story. Yes, it is. The concept of three best friends fighting over the new girl came to me when my best friends and I fought over a mutual friend on a random morning/evening. My best friends and I took on the roles of Chris, Wolf, and Ace, while our friend stepped into the role of Aurora Thatcher.
The Second Button Equivalence Pact is a variation of the 60s Japanese tradition where the boys would gift their jackets, books, and pets instead of the button.
Skyline Hearts celebrates the first anniversary of my gang. I published the first five chapters on May 16, 2024. Looking back, I couldn't have picked a better date.
Wolf's name comes from my nickname "Wolfie." I wanted Wolf as the first name before changing it to a nickname used by many and named him "Wallace" instead.
All six characters share the same birthdays as my friends and I. Ace - July 5, Chris - November 24, Wolf - January 27, Harry - August 19, Skylar - August 25, and Aurora - July 23
I've struggled with the ending for quite some time. I've constantly switched from letting Aurora end up with Chris and Wolf. Fortunately, in the end, I chose Wolf for her. He seemed like the perfect fit. I'm sure most of you agree with it.
That's all for now, folks! Next up. We have bonus content, starting with alternate endings for Chris and Ace.
