After we finish eating I lead the Harry, Ron and Hermione to one of the secret spots I had found in the castle that I have yet to show anyone.
"Sky what is this place?" Ron says looking around the room.
"I don't know I just found it," I tell Ron before turning to Harry, "okay so tell us what you are thinking."
"Well basically just before you and Ron came to save me from the Dursleys...."
"Wait they did what?" Hermione cuts him off.
"We got him from the Dursleys," Ron tells her, "using the flying car mum was talking about."
"Anyway, back to what I was saying," Harry gives Hermione a pointed look, "I had a visit from a house elf named Dobby."
"What's a house elf?" Hermione and I ask turning to look at Ron.
"What are you looking at me for?"
"You're the only one of us that grew up in the wizard world," Hermione tells him.
"They are elves that work in wizard family houses, they as the name suggests."
"Harry why do you think this elf has anything to do with the howler?" I ask him.
"Because it was telling me not to return to Hogwarts, that I'm in great danger this year. He already stole all the letters you guys wrote to me to make me think you guys had forgotten about me."
"And so you think he moved the car to get you and Ron into trouble and hopefully sent home?" I ask him.
"Basically yes."
"There are much simpler ways to do it," Hermione points out suspicious.
We remain in the room for a while exchanging theories about what could be happening. Eventually we all agree that Harry is most likely right and the house elf is messing with things around Harry to get him into trouble.
