~Raelyn~

~Monday, March 24th~

Sunlight filtered through the curtains, tugging me out of a heavy sleep. The buzz of a new day in LA was enough to get me moving, and today was market day—something Isa and I had been looking forward to all week. I threw off the covers and quickly shuffled to the living room to wake her up.

"Morning, sunshine," I greeted, my voice still thick with sleep.

Isa groaned from under the pile of blankets, cracking a tired smile. "Go away, I'm hungover as hell..."

I laughed and leaned against the doorframe. "Well, that's what you get for drinking like a fish. You're lucky I was sober enough to drive your sorry ass back here last night."

She flipped me off without even looking at me. "Blame Jake and Corey. They should've cut me off sooner."

I giggled. "Honestly, I'm surprised you survived. You were wobbling all over the place."

Isa rolled over, pulling the blankets up over her head. "I'm going to need some serious caffeine before I do anything today. But... I'm ready to make that farmers market my bitch."

I raised an eyebrow. "Oh? You're sure you can handle it in that state?"

She shot me a grin from under the blankets. "Watch me."

I shook my head, laughing. "You're insane. But alright, you ready to go have some fun?"

"Yes," Isa said, suddenly perking up as she threw the blankets off herself and hopped out of bed. "I've been dreaming of those fresh flowers and homemade jams since I landed!"

We both dove into my wardrobe to pick out outfits. Isa went straight for a pair of booty shorts, a tube top, and sneakers—her usual bold style. I opted for some high-waisted jeans, a cute tube top, and heels, knowing we were in for some serious sunshine today.

We stood in front of the mirror and checked each other out. "How do we look?" I asked, my eyes scanning her outfit.

Isa met my gaze in the reflection, her lips curving up. "Perfect."

We both burst into laughter. "Are we overdoing it?" she asked, twirling around a little.

"Nah, we're just on theme. Besides, when else can we do this? It's LA," I replied with a wink.

Our next task was hair, and of course, we went all out with French braid space buns. They looked playful, slightly messy—but hey, that was the vibe we were going for.

"Screw it, let's go," I declared as we grabbed our bags and headed for the door.

Isa paused as we reached the door. "You think Blake's okay after last night?"

I waved it off. "I'm sure he was just fine. He's probably having more fun with the gang than with us anyway."

She laughed. "True. I bet he's going wild with Jake, Sam, and Corey."

"Yeah, they're all a bad influence on him. But you know, I kind of like that he's getting more social. It's good for him," I said, though my voice had a hint of concern. I had a feeling he was enjoying his freedom, but I still couldn't help worrying.

Isa gave me a knowing look. "He's a smart kid. He'll be alright."

I nodded, feeling reassured for a moment, and then we were off—off to conquer the farmers market, with fresh flowers, good vibes, and a ridiculous amount of giggles ahead of us.
