~Monday, March 24th~
Sunlight streamed through the curtains as I stirred awake, the promise of a new day in LA coaxing me out of bed. Today was market day, and excitement buzzed between the like a secret handshake. I quickly got out of bed and went to the guest room to wake Isa.
"Morning, sunshine," I greeted, my voice still heavy with sleep.
Isa responded with a yawn and a smile, "Morning, you ready to go make some memories?"
I chuckled, "absolutely! AND we've got a full day ahead. Farmer's market, remember?"
"Oh, I remember," Isa said, hopping out of bed. "I've been dreaming of those fresh avocados since I landed!"
We rummaged through their wardrobes, selecting matching crop tops and cut-out jeans that screamed 'sister squad'. We looked at each other, our outfits a mirror image, and burst into laughter.
"Too much?" Isa asked, eyeing our reflection.
"Nah, we're just on theme. Besides, when else can we do this?" I replied, winking.
We tackled our hair next, braiding it into flirty French braid space buns. The look was playful, slightly messy, but it worked.
"Screw it, let's go," we declared in unison as we grabbed our bags, and headed out.
The city was waking up as we made our way to the 'trap house', where Colby and the roommates lived. The air was filled with the scent of coffee and car exhaust, the quintessential perfume of downtown LA. Upon our arrival, Colby greeted us with a grin.
"Well, if it isn't the dynamic duo. Going for the twin look today?" Me and Isa exchanged a glance, smirks spreading across their faces.
"You've got a whole week of this crap, Colby. Get used to it," I teased.
Colby laughed, throwing his hands up in mock surrender. "I wouldn't have it any other way. You two look great."
The rest if the gang emerged from the house, each adding their own quips about the 'twinning' situation, but it was all in good fun.
"Seriously though, you guys look adorable," Tara said, linking arms with ours.
"Yeah, it's like you guys are sisters or something" Katrina added sarcastically, as she snapped a picture for memories to soon hang on a wall in my house.
We all got into our cars as we drove to the market. We all parked next to each other. As we got our bags for goods, and we strolled through the bustling farmer's market.
I nudged Isa gently. "Six more days of our shenanigans," I whispered. Isa's eyes twinkled. "Six more days of making memories," she replied, her voice soft but filled with joy.
We found a spot where the air was rich with the scents of fresh pastries and blooming flowers. Isa was captivated by the vibrant colors and the hustle and bustle of the market.

As we walked between the stalls, Jake pointed to a stand with an array of homemade jams.
"Isa, you've got to try these. They're legendary around here!" Isa couldn't resist and ended up buying a few jars to take back home.
"Seriously, Raelyn, I could get used to this," Isa said, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
I grinned, "You haven't lived until you've tried one of Devyn's sandwiches. She makes this homemade pesto sauce to put on them. That shit is so good." I declared as Isa laughed. As if on cue, Devyn appeared, her arms laden with a picnic basket brimming with goodies.
