We got Mia back safely to Seattle and the drugs left no bad side effects to her system. They found documents for her departure from the country and had her photos for a passport and shot records which were all forgeries and in a different name and married to Carlos Rodriquez but both using fake passports. Brooks Duncan worked pretty quickly. I think he is like 26 years old and has been trained most of his life to be black ops, navy seals and to be ready to locate kidnappers and their victims. They were on maneuvers in the area and Anastasia made the call when she found out where Mia's tracker was going. She called them and had them pick all of us up and they moved fast. Brooks couldn't take his eyes off Mia and I found out later why. His wife who was killed during her tour overseas passed for her twin. His wife was adopted as well. It was strange how they were born on the same day but one on the east coast and one on the west coast. It had me wondering if they were twins and the birth certificates were forged.

Brooks
I checked the birth certificates of Mia and Maya and they were born within ten minutes of each other on the same day just opposite sides of the country. I can't see the difference in Mia and Maya except for the small star scar that a robber branded on her right cheek. He intended on raping her and selling her into prostitution and I rescued her from them. They had a lot of stars branded over their bodies by the young women we found hidden in caverns close by. We got them medical treatment and I found out that Maya was sent to try to infiltrate the group but the discovered what she was up to. Six months later we married. I lost her in her last tour to a sniper. I can't stop looking at Mia and finally told her why.

Grace
I heard the whole story and I had wondered why they had mixed up birth certificates for Mia. I don't recall the name back then but it was similar to Mia. Very strange and Brooks was very in love with Maya his wife. Anastasia invited him and his team to Seattle for a celebration for getting Mia back. Unfortunately his team couldn't make it but he would come and talk about the kidnapping with all of us.

Carrick
If Anastasia and her dad trusted Brooks then I think I can and he saved her and caught the bad guys. I felt helpless when I heard Mia was missing. Then I found out Thomas and Barney made sure they had trackers on her in more than one piece of cheap jewelry. Anastasia had a jet ready for us and she got help from a friend of her father's and herself to meet us at the place where they thought Mia was taken to. Everything happened so fast that I couldn't believe we got her back, we had to get her to the hospital though. Brooks Duncan was looking at Mia like he knew her from somewhere and then he told us about Maya. Mia isn't Maya and far from it. He soon learned that from the way she acted.

Anastasia
Brooks is flying back with Mia, Carrick, Grace, Thomas and the pilots and security. His team is still on maneuvers and they have to stay there. Brooks was invited to stay with us but he said he had to check in at base and then he can have dinner with us and meet Theodore and Raymond.

Christian
Brooks Duncan has a very simple background check as did Ray and a few others I have met. Anastasia said he can be trusted with our lives. Maybe he should watch over Mia. He turned me down on babysitting Mia. He isn't a bodyguard and doesn't plan on being one. He saves people from the bad guys and gets the ransom back intact. We didn't get any ransom demands so that told him it was someone who was obsessed with Mia.

Mia
I can't take my eyes off Brooks because it is like we have met somewhere before today. I recall him in the hospital when I woke up. He has came to Seattle and he had to check in with his people. I am not sure what happened but things flashed before my eyes and I am sure that we have met before now.

Brooks
I get things resolved where Alex and Calvin were concerned but the others will be handled differently because they want to stop the Rodriquez  trafficking ring and we caught him red handed. They got all the information because the idiots put their actual addresses on the documents they were using. At first we believed that the addresses were bogus but when we looked at them they were all within a five mile of each other and the buildings were strange looking and then we spotted a young woman trying to escape. We got the victims to our base and treated them for their injuries including the star scars.

Elliott
I was pretty mad at Mia for her stupidity at believing Alex and trusting Calvin for any reason. I was trying to talk to Christian about getting Calvin removed from guarding Mia because he was acting suspicious and getting calls all the time. I finally go see Mia at mom and dad's. They made her move back in with them until she gets well and also gets used to eight security guards protecting her at all times. She's not happy at all but she is lucky to be alive according to Brooks the guy who was marrying her has had eleven wives who have died mysteriously after a year. They couldn't prove he killed them and he had plenty of enemies that could have taken the blame for it.
