Mom and dad hated all the places I could afford. They recommended I get a couple of roommates and thought Ana would make a good one. I asked Ana and she told me she had a place already. Little did I know that she had a mansion of her own. My parents wanted to see what an 18 year old considered a mansion. So here we are inviting ourselves to see her home. We had to be checked at the guard house before we could drive the road to her home/mansion. There were three houses before we made it to the mansion. We parked where the security guard told us to park. We walked up the stairs to the huge porch and were greeted by a housekeeper at the front door. She invited us into a large family room and said Ana was calling her attorney and would be right out. She offered us refreshments, we declined.

Kate you just met Ana, do you think she might be pulling our legs about owning this property?
Kate
I doubt it mom, she said she is all alone in the world except for staff and a few friends.
Ana
Hi everyone so do you want a tour of my home? I got my deed today from my attorney. 'This has been in my family for a long time. After my parents were killed my grandparents hired security and built homes for the staff here. Three of the six are occupied right now. So you see I don't need a place to live. I do however get harassed by realtors all the time to sell my home. Anyway the wings have 6 bedrooms and bathrooms in each. You saw the family room, we have a formal dining room, an entertainment room, two kitchens, spa, sauna, gym, pool, offices 2 private and one for security. Three are two libraries here as well as a few other rooms including two safe rooms. There is an outdoor pool and pool house. A boat house with three boats and a huge dock. A 12 car garage, a greenhouse, a hothouse for fresh grown produce. A huge party area with a lovely bbq area to cook with. I allow my staff to use it as they wish. They usually use it for family and friends they trust. So let's have something to eat. Hazel has been busy preparing a nice meal for all of us. We all eat together like a family because we are.
Allen
Ana you own this? She nods. Would you consider Kate as a roommate?
Ana
You don't do drugs or anything do you Kate? Will you abide by security's rules here?
Kate
I will and never had a drug issue and not going to now. Just let me know their rules.
Allen
We can pay whatever rent and expenses if you allow her to reside here with you. Your attorney can create a contract saying as much like a lease with security deposit and all.
Ana
Let me talk to him and then you guys can see him tomorrow. You can take the guest rooms instead of staying in the hotel if you wish. Then we can get an agreement created. Okay security has set rules and everyone has to follow them at all times if they want to be on my property.
Sawyer
I am called to bring the rules we set up for our charges so they remain safe in our charge. I hand copies to Miss Kavanagh and her parents. They all read them and sign the last page and hand the signed page back to me. Ana signed one long ago. They have to abide by these rules to assure their safety. I get them to sign an NDA along with a release to run a thorough background check. I guess Ana trusts them and they seem fine, but we need to check on this. I bring them to the security office off the main security area so they can't see the many views we have of this place. I tell them they aren't allowed to bring others here without security knowing prior to the visit. They inform me that Kate's two brothers would want to visit her as well as them. So I start a visitors list for Kate. Ana has only staff and business associates or attorneys visiting now. When the will was executed they sent out appraisers to go over the assets one thing at a time. Two were fired when we caught them trying to take heirlooms and cash from the safes. So we keep a tight ship after that. Ana trusts too easily at times, but we chatted after that and now she knows the score.
Allen
I leave the ladies and security drives me to get our luggage to bring to Anas place. The guy tells me point blank not to misuse Anas trust in all of us or suffer the consequences. I told Reynolds not to worry we know a good person and we are good people as well. I tell them that they will find out about us when the background checks come back.
James Reynolds
I hope so mr Kavanagh because Ana is a good kid. She's lost everyone in her life so far. All killed. I park the car and we head up to gather their luggage. He pays his bill and we leave. I tell him not to worry that Ana has someone to watch over Kate as well so she will be safe.
Allen
Well good luck to him or her, she wouldn't allow us to hire one for her.
Reynolds
Under the contract she signed she has to have one drive her as well as protect her or the deal ends. Our housekeepers and cooks have them as well.
Allen
Well whose idea was that?
Reynolds
Anas of course. She figures that not only does that keep people here safe it keeps unwanted people out as well. We are all well trained ex military we carry weapons and wear bullet proof vests. We are required to train every day like Ana does. I bet she will force Kate to train as
well.
Allen
Can we watch that? I laugh.
