Settling In

I am busy working on my family's companies issues. The staff think it is a joke that an 18 year old is now a CEO over two Fortune 500 companies. I am also getting my degrees in business, law and medicine. I am a busy person. Kate has settled into the home. She asked if her brother could join us for supper. I suspect a matchmaking deal, but I told her it is fine just let security know.

Kate
Joseph has been bugging me to come over while Ana is here. He likes her, but I doubt she has time for socializing with boyfriends yet. She has only had two boyfriends and both were after one thing and she dumped them. Ana and her phone and laptop are inseparable. She is constantly working on one thing or another. Her house rules are easily followed. Treat all staff with respect and don't make them work harder than necessary. They cook, clean, and keep thing running smoothly. We must pick up after ourselves and take dirty things to the laundry room and all dishes and trash go in their respective places. In other words pick up after yourselves lol. Ana was told that never expect others to do what you should do yourself. Picking up and assuring a clean environment is a sign of respect for each other but it shows the type of people who lives here. A clean home is a welcome sight to any surprise guests. Ana only had one issue with me and this rule. My make up and my closet. She designed an area for my makeup that rotates and keeps everything neatly tucked away. She had a closet designed just for me and my clothes. It took two weeks, but it's great. I have a beautiful walk-in dressing room closet that has everything in its place.

I knew I had to get Kate organized as soon as I saw her makeup and clothing. I created a rotating makeup gadget and it works great. Less clutter and a more efficient way to find everything. Her closet/dressing room was adjoining her bathroom so we had to remove a wall and expand the area to the next bedroom. It worked out great. Since she will be here for a long time this just keeps her area neater. I had my housekeeper hire two more staff to help her out now that we have Kate here. She had two lined up after seeing the mess in Kate's room. I just told her I had a plan to help with the clutter and three weeks later she hugged and thanked the construction crew and the architect/ designer. I am so busy I forgot to eat a couple of days and ended up in the er.

Dr Grace Grey
I was on duty when a man brought was looked to be a teenager into the er. She was unconscious and he said he thinks she could be dehydrated. Her friend found her passed out in her office at home. A blonde nodding said she hadn't seen her for a couple of days and went looking for her. I ask if they are related to her, the guy is her bodyguard and the blonde is her roommate/friend. They tell me that I should contact Grey associates and ask for Archie. The guy says his name is Sawyer and the girl is Ana Steele. Her friend is Kate Kavanaugh. I get her to an exam table. I ask if she could be pregnant. They both laugh and tell me unless it is immaculate conception no way. I chuckle and ask her age, Sawyer gives me her stats age date of birth, family history and blood type and allergies. Any meds or vitamins she uses. She is on birth control for medical reasons. Man this guy knows more than a husband would about this girl. He looks around 30, I go take her back to draw blood and see if I can awaken her. She seems to be in a coma. So I get the neuro guy involved after drawing blood to rule out pregnancy anyway and a few other factors. I notice her lips are now bluish. She's not getting air. So we vent her, this is more than dehydration. Something is very wrong here. I get a few other doctors involved in her case. This looks like someone has poisoned the girl. We get the tox  screen and she definitely was given something. We finally get her back and her brain scan was normal we got her back. Her breathing was back to normal. Now we have call the cops. I see Archie headed towards me and he asks how Ana is doing and does he need to sign anything?

Archie Anas attorney
I am told that Ana was poisoned, but they still haven't isolated what it was yet. I ask Grace if we can talk privately and now. I have Sawyer guard Ana and ask him to get two more on her now. He calls and he gets the staff to join him. I follow Grace to her office and go into great detail about Ana and what happened to Anas parents and then grandparents. Both were intentionally killed in accidents. Both were dead at the scenes and the driver and burglars were never found. I tell grace we have to find out the type of poison it was and while she is here. It seems as though someone wants the remaining Steele dead as well. I am sure of it now, but we need to get the exact poison to know more. Luckily Ana made out her will the same time she inherited everything. She has relatives who might have had a hand in this. Just be aware that no one is to be trusted unless you and her security know who they are.

Grace
Good Lord who is behind this? Poor child. I head over to her room and tell Sawyer that they need to find out if there are any food or drink containers in the room they found her in.

Sawyer
Listen check the office out thoroughly for food or beverage containers. If you find it seal it and bring it here to be tested. Also check the office for anything odd.

Jack Hyde
Yes I will do that immediately Sawyer. Like hell I am he's not my boss. I know exactly what's wrong with queen bee. I call him back and tell him there's nothing out of place. I am in her office now and nothing is off about it. Just the device that comes on when the door closes that dispenses carbon monoxide gas. It keeps going until the door is open and then stops. I had brought this in and set it up while everyone was outside using the bbq. All this should be mine not hers. No one will know what happened and no one will suspect me. My mother was pregnant and left by Ray Steele, he married an heiress and left my mom to raise me alone. I found out when I kept bugging her about who my father was. She finally pointed at his face on the tv screen and said that's your dad there.

Mommy tell me who my dad is now.

Hell how do I tell him I have no idea who his father is, when I was passed around like used merchandise when I conceived him. I was plastered most of the time and was a good time girl. So when I saw Ray Steele talking about creating new jobs at his company. I said that is your father. I died knowing I lied to my son and left him alone after being stabbed by a robber. He was only eight years old. Donald Brown was Jacks real dad, he was married and killed in an airplane crash along with three hundred others.

Jack
Mom was killed after a bar fight on her way home to me she was robbed and stabbed. I suspect she had other things done to her, but they wouldn't say. I was put in foster homes. I told them that Ray Steele was my dad, but they said he never met my mom ever. He denied me.
