"Did you have to do this? I was thinking that you could be trusted."

Berlin, Germany

(Bad Blood, Taylor Swift)

...

'Everyone got eyes on Cap?"

"Affirmative- clear view from the parking deck."

"Clear view from the terminal."

"Clear from the southern runway," Bethany confirmed her sightline, lightly touching her earpiece. She could see the helicopter; Clint had pointed it out from the moment she was in position. It would be a swift dash to it whilst Steve kept whoever came to stand in their way occupied.

"Lookin' good, Cap."

"Stay focused, Lang."

"You got it."

The air was thick with tension, like you could feel the uncertainty of everybody's next moves, just by stepping out into the open. With the German airport now cleared of civilians, there was an almost clear playing ground for Steve and those who fought against the Accords.

But back out on the tarmac, was a different story, and it was wildly clear that this would not be playing out how everyone had hoped that it would.

Both Rhodey and Tony flew towards the airport in their suits. Volume detection remained low, as to remain silent for the time being and their jet had parked outside the airport's vicinity, with the rest of its occupants hiding in designated positions scattered around the tarmac.

Lucia walked by herself from a hanger, far away from where her Dad and Godfather were flying, with a racing heart. She could feel the slight shake of her hands and sweat beginning to form on the back of her neck, as she adjusted her crimson cuffs.

Her suit was one her Mother had designed for her, consisting of black woven leather pants and high boots, with a crimson leather jacket just ending before her knees and a laced red corset. It was fitted, matching the colour of her powers perfectly, finally giving her a suit she could officially call her own.

It fit perfectly, but right now she could barely breathe within it. Her long red hair was loosely curled, cascading down her back, and she nervously tucked a piece behind her ear as she finally walked over to her designated hiding position if anything was to go South.

She heard a sharp crackle, as an electro-disabler slammed onto the chopper as Ironman and War Machine descended.

Waiting behind a crate, a few yards away from her she saw her Dad standing in his glorious red and gold suit, with Rhodey standing tall beside him.

She couldn't see who the pair was talking to, but she could only imagine, as the unknown other teammates began to converse. She waited to come out, still waiting to see if maybe they could come to an agreement peacefully.

"Wow, it's so weird how you run into people at the airport. Don't you think that's weird?" Her Dad said sarcastically, turning to look at Rhodey by his side.

"Definitely weird," Rhodey answered. She needed a better viewpoint, from here she'd have no idea when to intervene.

Lucia clenched her eyes shut, feeling the familiar tingle of her powers surging within her, as she clenched her fists in turn. She took a deep breath, centring her mind as she focused on the energy coursing through her veins.

Slowly, she visualized herself fading away, imagining the particles of her body blending seamlessly with the environment. She felt the shift in her perception as the light around her began to bend, wrapping her in a cloak of near invisibility.
