Chapter I: Lost Memories

This chapter I consider one of the worst in the story, so please bare with my incompetence

Adler: “Where am I?”

I woke up in the middle of the sea. This is odd… the last thing I remember was being in a fight with… something. Just then, a sphere-like object appears in front of me with some text on it.

Adler: ‘It says “All knowledge is within your grasp, everything you want to know, but knowledge comes at a cost, a painful one.” What does it mean by that? Oh well might as well grab it

As soon as I touched the ball, my brain felt like it was going to pop, constant painful headaches, It felt like I wanted to scratch my brain and dig through my skull, but I tried to endure it, the last thing I remember was my vision fading to black.

(Timeskip)

(3rd Person POV)

???: “Are you sure we are at the right place?”
         ???: “Scout planes reported that a ship with our markings was around here”
???: “Why were we sent here?”
         ???: “Because we're the closest”
???: “You know Bismarck, why do you keep acting this composed while being that tired? You need to take a rest once in a while”
          Bismarck: “Good leaders must stay strong, which is also why I need to keep composed”
???: “Whatever you say”

As soon as both girls stopped talking, they saw a body lying on the ocean

???: “Is that?”
          Bismarck: “It might be, let's go Tirpitz”
Tirpitz: “Alright”

Bismarck and Tirpitz approached the body that was lying on the floor, it was Adler. He had 2 red horns, looked like a child, and was unconscious.

Bismarck: “I think this is our… boy?”
            Tirpitz: “I think he looks like…”
Bismarck: “Yes, he looks like Friedrich. But ignoring that, I will be bringing him to the infirmary on my ship, he will be resting until he wakes up”
            Tirpitz: “We could use him, but he doesn't seem to have any riggings on, is he a ship?”
          
Bismarck ignored her question, so Tirpitz tried to carry Adler, who was unexpectedly heavy for his small frame but couldn't. So he asked her sister for help to bring him into Bismarck’s Infirmary.

Tirpitz: “He is unexpectedly heavy for his frame, what is his ship I wonder? If he is a ship that is”
           Bismarck: “Ask him yourself when he wakes up”

When they reached the infirmary, they put Adler down on a bed.

Bismarck: “I'll be going now”
                 Tirpitz: “Same here”

Bismarck and Tirpitz left the room, leaving Adler alone, unconscious.

Sometime later…

(Adler POV)

I wake up in a room clad in white walls with a hint of gray on them, I don't know where I am but it seems like that ball caused me pain because when I touched the ball, it exposed me to unhealthy amounts of information. So now I know what ships I am on, what the whole concept of a shipgirl is, and others. It seems I became an H-class ship. How did I end up here? Why is my skin no longer pale? I walked out of my bed and went into the hallway, where I saw Bismarck and Tirpitz.
