Chapter IV: The Visit

As I woke up from my deep slumber, I could see Unicorn's head over me. She was waiting for me to wake up.

Adler: “(grunt) What is it, Unicorn?”
           Unicorn: “Uhmm… I've been wanting to ask you something”
Adler: “What is it?”
           Unicorn: “I want you to tell Friedrich and Bismarck that I want to visit Azur Lane”
Adler: “Are you finally returning?”
           Unicorn: “No, but I want to meet my friends in Azur Lane once again. It's just a friendly visit to tell them that I'm doing okay”
Adler: “Hmmm… Alright then. I'll tell them both”

I got out of my resting position on the sofa before going to the bathroom to wash my face and go to Bismarck's room. I asked some people around and they said Friedrich is also there.

When I reached the door to her room, I knocked on it as I waited for a response. Soon Bismarck opened the door to see me waiting.

Bismarck: “What are you here for, Adler?”
            Adler: “I wanted to talk about something with both you and Friedrich”
Bismarck: “Well please come in then”

I came inside the room where I saw Friedrich sitting.

Friedrich: “What are you here for darling?”
             Adler: “I'll talk about it in a minute”

I sat down on a chair nearby and I started talking.

Adler: “I'm going straight to the point. Unicorn wants to make a friendly visit to Azur Lane, she says she isn't returning to Azur Lane. She just wants to meet her friends again”
           Bismarck: “Huh… will she be going alone?”
Adler: “No, I plan to go with her. Under a disguise of course”
           Bismarck: “From what I've heard from you, I don't think she will do anything that will damage us, but be wary just in case”
Adler: “Alright. So do I have your permission?”
           Bismarck and Friedrich: “Yes”
Adler: “Thank you”

I left the room and headed back to Unicorn to tell her the news.
When I got back to the room, I told her about the news.

Adler: “They both said yes”
           Unicorn: “That's good”
Adler: “Also, may I go with you? Bismarck wants me to go with you for your and our security”
           Unicorn: “I guess that's reasonable. But won't they recognize you?”
Adler: “I can put up a disguise”
           Unicorn: “Okay then, I want to go now”
Adler: “Ah okay”

Unicorn ran out the door and headed for the docks. This was the first time she didn't run with me, but ahead of me.

Sometime later…

We reached the docks where both of our ships were. Her ship was still in Blood colors.

Adler: “In my opinion, we shouldn't change the ship now. Some Iron Blood ships in the front line might misidentify us”
           Unicorn: “Alright, I guess…”

I teleported Unicorn to her vessel and I teleported myself to mine. Our ships exited the docks as we headed straight for the Azur Lane headquarters. The plan was to change forms when we reached Azur Lane territory so we wouldn't get attacked by Iron Blood in our territory and Azur Lane in theirs.

Hours later…
Near Azur Lane Territory

(Radio)

Adler: “We're nearing Azur Lane territory, I suggest we change now”
           Unicorn: “Uhh okay!”

I waved my hand in the direction of Unicorn's ship as it changed colors back to its original colors and the nameplate returned to its original name. I also removed any Iron Blood markings. Our ships were relatively close so I could see Unicorn. I changed her clothes back into her original uniform (Post-Encounter, Pre-Battle) with the red bowties still on. I also wanted to change my ship. I was thinking of one, and I came up with the USS Saratoga, a Forrestal-class Carrier. The black bars surrounded my ship and my ship turned into the supercarrier itself.
