<7:33 AM, Iron Blood>
Adler and Unicorn had just reached Iron Blood, and they docked their ships in the ports. Adler had just switched his ship back into its battleship form when they were close enough to the base. Adler and Unicorn got off their ships, Adler still having the wisdom cube in hand.
Adler: “I'm going to Bismarck’s office, I recommend you stay here to make sure Laffey and Javelin don't do anything”
Unicorn: “Okay then, I'll be heading back”
Unicorn headed back inside her ship while Adler headed for Bismarck's office. Once Adler reached the office, he knocked on the door and someone answered, but it wasn't Bismarck.
???: “Come in!”
‘That's not Bismarck's voice…’ Adler thought to himself.
He entered the room anyway and inside she saw Friedrich, and only Friedrich.
Adler: “Sister, where's Bismarck?”
Friedrich: “She went on a mission, she won't be back for another 3 days. Speaking of which…”
Adler: “What is it?”
Friedrich: “I need to go 3 hours from now…”
Friedrich placed her glasses down.
Friedrich: “And I need you to be in charge while both me and Bismarck are gone”
Adler was taken quite aback.
Adler: “M-Me? Are you sure?”
Friedrich: “Yes, from what I've seen, you're quite a good leader”
Adler: “You think so?”
Friedrich: “In my opinion, yes”
Adler: “(sigh) How long will you be gone for?”
Friedrich: “I'll also be gone for 3 days, so those 3 days will be tasked upon you”
Adler: “Are you sure about this? I'm quite young”
Friedrich: “I already told you I'm sure. I'll go prepare for my mission now”
Adler: “Alright then…”
Friedrich: “But before I go, have this”
Friedrich gave Adler the hat she was wearing.
Adler: “What's this for?”
Friedrich: “It's to signify the person currently in charge of Iron Blood”
Adler: “Okay…”
Friedrich left the room, leaving Adler alone. He looked at the hat which looked like a Kriegsmarine commander hat. He placed the hat upon his head as he thought about his new job being forced upon him, so he went to Iron Blood's R&D facility. When he was on his way there, several shipgirls saw his hat and bowed. When he entered the currently empty facility, he pulled out the cube from thin air, and closed his eyes. As he closed his eyes, he placed his left hand above the wisdom cube, and it started to float between his two hands. The wisdom cube rotated quickly in random directions as Adler changed the inner core programming of the wisdom cube, which includes erasing her given name and changing her origin. The process lasted 30 seconds, the cube floating back down onto his right hand when it ended. He grabbed the wisdom cube and went in front of a panel that was placed below an incubator. The control panel seemed to scan the wisdom cube and take it, placing it inside the incubator. The wisdom cube now floating in the fluid. Adler tipped his hat and exited the facility. When he was outside, he headed for Unicorn's ship. He boarded Unicorn's ship and headed to the infirmary, where he presumed Unicorn was. Inside the infirmary was Unicorn, sitting beside the bed Laffey was on. Unicorn noticed Adler's hat.
Unicorn: “What's with the hat? (chuckle)”
Unicorn spoke in a very sarcastic tone.
Adler: “Friedrich and Bismarck had to go on missions, so I have been entrusted by Friedrich to be in charge of Iron Blood”
Unicorn: “What an honor “commander” (giggle)”
Adler: “Stop that… (chuckle)”
