Chapter II: A New Life

Just so you all know, since when I published this story to Wattpad, 9 chapters have already been finished, so you can all read until that point.

I wake up to the smell of a dockside town, I don't know why I know what one smells like, but it seems we have arrived at the Iron Blood base. I soon then got up and tried to wake up Unicorn, it took some tries but it worked.

Unicorn: “Mmm… where am I?”
        Adler: “In Bismarck's ship!”
Unicorn: “Huh?”

Unicorn looked at me who was smiling before realizing who I was. At that point, Unicorn had retreated to a corner of the room.

Unicorn: “Am I going to get punished?”
         Adler: “Of course not! Nobody is that harsh!”
Unicorn: “Wales told me if I got captured by Iron Blood I would get punished by them severely”
         Adler: “That's just fear-mongering, we don't do that!”
Unicorn: “Mm… How can I trust you?”
         Adler: “Because I care about you!”

Unicorn eased up and walked towards me, more calm than before.

Adler: “Now come on! Let's see the base!”
           Unicorn: “Uhmm….”

Before Unicorn was going to speak, I grabbed her hands and dragged her to the direction of a door, scaring her a bit.

Unicorn: “Uhhhh…”

I then opened the door to reveal a bright sunny sky with the Iron Blood base nearing.

Adler: “There it is!”
           Unicorn: “Uhmmmm…  can you please let go of my hand?”
Adler: “Oops, sorry” -lets go of hand-
           Unicorn: “Is this the base?”
Adler: “I think so”

As we looked at the base nearing, I could see several ships in the dockyard, not as big as my ship but still pretty big, several girls near the dockyard going about and all sorts of port side activity. This is the life I've been wanting.

(Timeskip)

Our ships soon reached the docks, and a lot of onlookers were looking at my ship and its size. Some people were also looking at Unicorn's ship and were presumably, from their faces, wondering why an Azur Lane ship was present.

Adler: “Come on, let's go!”

I grabbed Unicorn's hand again and dragged her to a ramp where we went down to the dockside where I could see many shipgirls. Everybody there was looking at me, my long red horns similar to Friedrich’s and Unicorn who I was dragging with me. She was holding her Unicorn plushie tightly with one arm, hiding her face. Before I could run around the base more with Unicorn, I accidentally bumped into a woman.

Adler: “Ouch…”
           ???: “My, my, you need to be careful young man, don't run around carelessly, your friend there might get hurt too”

I looked up to see that it was Friedrich der Große, my sister.

Adler: “Sister?”
           Friedrich: “Are you the new ship perhaps?”
Adler: “Yes”
           Friedrich: “Bismarck already told me about my younger brother coming here, even though I don't remember having one, but you do have horns similar to mine, is it you perhaps?”
Adler: “Ye!”
           Friedrich: “Well then dearie, be more careful next time, I don't want you getting hurt”
Adler: “Okay!”

Friedrich then continued her walk in the direction of the dockside, where most of the shipgirls were. I then continued my trip around the base with Unicorn. Of course, I had to apologize first.
