When we got close enough to the base, I stopped my ship and turned it back into my original ship. After just using my Siren powers to fight at partial force, it seemed that I had changed into a more normal, human look. I let Unicorn stand as I put her down.

Adler: “I need to ask you something. Do you want to keep your current ship color or change it back to the Iron Blood colors? The nameplate will change back too of course”
Unicorn: “You can change it to the Iron Blood colors, I don't mind”

Unicorn summoned her ship beside mine as I changed its colors shortly after. I also changed her dress back to her Iron Blood uniform (Post-Battle, Pre-Siren) and changed her planes to Rafale M(s), NGF(s), and E-2C Hawkeyes. I also reverted her ship to its modernized length, which was around 100 to 120 meters longer compared to her original ship's length. After I was done with the process I tried to walk to Unicorn so I could teleport her to her ship but my legs suddenly felt weak and my eyes felt like they were going to close on me. The last thing I remembered was falling to the ground and my eyes finally closing right after I saw Unicorn’s distressed look.

Unicorn POV

I was distressed as I saw him pass out. I didn't know what to do. I did the best I could and dragged him onto a bed in an infirmary on his ship. I went and radioed Friedrich to tell her about the situation and to bring several ships because I couldn't possibly carry Adler's ship on my own. Nobody other than him can command his ship.

After a while of waiting, several ships did come, some carriers, battleships, and other vessels. Even with the amount of ships there was, including mine, we moved at a snail's pace. It took until sunset to reach the Iron Blood base where after all ships were docked, Friedrich quickly ran to Adler and looked at his numerous injuries. She asked me what happened to her and I said, “I will explain later.” So Friedrich carried him to her room and put him on the sofa, to make sure he was comfortable. I stayed by his side all night until I eventually slept while sitting beside him…

Adler POV

I opened my eyes to see myself in Friedrich’s room once more and a cute sleeping Unicorn, hugging her plushie while sleeping. I stood up while trying my best to make her not wake up, but in the end, it was futile since she did.

Unicorn: “Are you okay? Why did you pass out?!”
Adler: “I don't know… I think I was too tired after using all my power fighting Purifier”
Unicorn: “Be more careful next time! I don't want to see you getting hurt and passing out again!” She said with a sad face
Adler: “Alright, I promise I'll be more careful. Now please calm down”

I spoke to Unicorn as I hugged her, which did calm her a bit. Then Friedrich came into the room and when she saw me awake, immediately looked at my condition.

Friedrich: “What happened to you? Why are you so hurt?”
                 Adler: “I'm fine”
Friedrich: “You're clearly not! Look at all these injuries!”
Adler: “... Fine. I was in a battle with an Elite Siren and a Siren Fleet”
Friedrich: “An Elite Siren?! Weren't you supposed to be visiting Azur Lane with Unicorn?”
Adler: “Yes… but before we could, we got attacked by the Sirens”
Friedrich: “Wait… so that means you two were in a battle with Sirens? Are you also hurt?!” said Friedrich as he looked at Unicorn.
.                Adler: “No need to worry, she isn't. I was the only one who battled”
Friedrich: “Why?! I know full well that Unicorn would help! So why?!”
                 Adler: “Uhmmm…”
Unicorn: “So are you going to tell her? Do you trust her enough?”
               Friedrich: “Tell me what?”
Adler: “(sigh) The true full story. I ask of you to not tell this to Bismarck, please”
