Damien
We were just 16, nothing was serious.
I have a girlfriend that I've been with for a while. Was I fond of her? Not necessary. I just needed a girlfriend to prove to my parents that I was gay.
But it's been 3 years since I last saw them. And the feelings I had for them years ago clearly haven't gone away. But I needed to push these feelings away. They've moved on. Not to mention we all have changed.
I have to get over them. A relationship isn't gonna kindle between us, and I needed to face it
"I'm establishing rules. Everyone will clean after themselves, and we all will take different household chores. The rent will also be split four ways amongst us, but I'll pay most of it. If you fail to help pay rent you will be kicked out. Do I make myself clear?" Cameron explained in a passive aggressive tone while his arms are crossed, giving us stares, it wasn't necessarily a glare but an order from his eyes.
"Yes sir." Milo said dryly as he pulled put his phone. "So who's gonna get what choirs are we getting, and how will the rent be split?"
"Instead of using your notes app, I can grab a paper from my room and hang it on the fridge." Caleb suggested as he stood up, about to go grab the papers but waited for Milo's approval.
His voice was more mature, obviously, but it still had that same softness and gentlness to it. I missed when we were together, and I know I shouldn't. He has a boyfriend who's been with him way longer than we were.
Physically we knew one another a very short time, but spiritually it felt like we all knew each other for an entire life time.
"Sure, if you want." And Caleb left for upstairs.
Cameron had all three of us sit on the sofa. Me and Milo on the ends with Caleb in the middle."I'll dust and sweep." Milo adds, crossing his legs on the sofa.
"I'll take out the trash, and do most of the cooking since I'm a certain two people probably still can't cook." I say and I obnoxiously glance at Milo, who turns his body towards me with a glare.
"I can cook a few dishes actually."
"Like what?" I add as I raise a brow at him with a smirk.
"Spaghetti, mac n' cheese, and all breakfast foods. And I'm sure Caleb can make some good food." Milo retorts with a grin pulling his lips.
Caleb soon jogs down the stairs with a paper, pen and something for Miko to write on."Caleb can you cook?" Milo asks, to which Caleb shakes his head.
"I still can't cook, so I decided to bake instead." He said as he sat back down on the sofa, "My favorite thing to make are cinnamon rolls. My goodness they're so delicious."
"Really? Maybe one day I can help you bake with you." Cameron added in. I never took Cameron as the guy who'd bake.
"What's your favorite thing to bake."
"Oh, I can't bake. But I'm good at taste testing." Cameron snickered, which caused Caleb to let out a sigh before a small chuckle.
"Sure."
"So Damien is taking out the trash and Cooking." Milo then looked at me, and I realized how brighter his blue eyes had gotten.
"Damien, how often are you gonna cook?" He asked, and I take a second to think.
"Tuesday's, Thursday's, Saturday's."
He writes it down. I don't think specific days are necesessary for when I cook, most likely I'll do it whenever I feel like it, but I usually cook on those days back at home.
"I'll be sweeping and dusting, Caleb what about you?"
"Um, I can... keep everything organized and tidied up around the house."
"Ill do the dishes and clean the bathrooms." Cameron added, which made me feel guilty for not having to do alot, but before I could say something Caleb chimed.
"I can clean one of the bathrooms for you."
He still is as nice as he was before. I feel like I've been reminiscing about them too much."Thanks Caleb." Cameron smiled before looking at his watch and his eye jolted. "Oh snap! I'm gonna be late to my class!" He then legged up the stairs to his room and I hear the door slam.
"What about you two? You guys got classes today?" Caleb asked as he stood up from the sofa once more.
"Nope, I'm clear today." I respond before pulling my phone.
"Same."
"Welp, see y'all later." He said as he also made his way upstairs before I heard his door close.

It was my girlfriend. She texted me to meet up. It's not that I hated her, I just didn't like her romantically. She was a cool girl to hang with, just not my type. But I didn't want to break up with her because of my parents. Like I said earlier. My parents said they saw me kiss Milo before we left, and I kept telling them they were seeing things. So I found myself a girlfriend to prove to them I'm straight. But in reality I'm bisexual. I had a long time trying to figure myself out.

"Just my girlfriend. She wants to meet up." I say as I stand up. I glance at Milo, he doesn't look at me, but I watch him bite down on his lip as his grip on his phone tightens.
Was he jealous?
No, of course not. He probably doesn't want to be in a house alone.
There is thumping as I hear two people coming downstairs. Looking over I see Caleb and Cameron making there ways down the stairs before waving us bye. The door shut and now were completely alone.
"But I don't really feel like going out today so I was planning to bring her over. Are you ok with it?" I question as my body faces him, he stands, still not looking at me and shrugs.
"I don't really care, it's your girlfriend. As long as you're happy and don't bother me, I don't really care." He whips around and goes to his room, the door shuts and I'm left by myself.
I suck in a breath as I hit my palm against my forehead.
"What am I doing?"
