"Is Damien ok? He hasn't come out of his room since yesterday." I questioned aloud as I flopped down on the sofa next to Caleb and Cameron.

"Maybe he's sick." Cameron adds as he continues to type on his phone, not looking up at me. I turn to Caleb, thinking he has a thought. But instead he's fiddling with his finger in his lap with a guilty expression.

"Caleb are you alright?"

"Yea, it's just—"

"Sorry guys, I gotta take this call. Be right back." Cameron stands up and presses the phone to his ear before leaving the living room.

I look back at Caleb, gesturing for him to continue, "Well, yesterday I heard shouting and things being thrown so I decided to check on him. And I— he..." He drops his hands to the side of him with a sigh, "He yelled at me to go away.
I think I made it worse."

"Well he needs to eat, he hasn't eaten since yesterday." I push off the sofa with an exhale before looking back at Caleb. "I doubt he's upset with you. He was probably just having a bad day, and you came at the wrong time."

"You're pretty good at cheering people up." He apprised with a smile as he stood up from the sofa. "How about we make him something to eat?" He suddenly grabs my hand and drags me to the kitchen, and I felt my heart rate slowly speeding up as he held my hand. His secure grip, even if I wanted to pull my hand away, I probably couldn't get away with only one yank.

"Do you know what he likes to eat?" Caleb asked before turning around perplexed. I was to focused on his hand clasped with mine I nearly missed what he said.

"I think he likes... noodles?"

"You think?"

"I'm sorry I don't stalk him and his every move for you Caleb." I retorted sassily as my brows slightly flattened.

"Yea, how dare you not stalk his every breath?" He jokingly responded as he let my hand go and crossed his arms. I instinctively tried to grab it back but immediately pulled my arm back, luckily he didn't notice.

"Whatever, I think we should make him some noodles." I step to the pantry for a pack of noodles and come back out. Caleb had already grabbed a boiler and was filling it with water.
Once the boiler was filled I dropped the noddles in the water and Caleb turned on the stove.

I hop on the counter before reaching for my phone and checking the time. It read 7:26. He hasn't eaten all day, nor did he eat dinner yesterday. Did something bad happen?

Before I could finish my train of thought Caleb had walked between my legs and was reaching over me for something. And I felt myself getting hot down there.

He knew what he was doing

I had to focus on my breathing or I'd do something I would regret.

Once he grabbed whatever he needed he placed it beside me and sat down on the counter next to me with a smile.

"You know what you were doing."

"What did I do?" He innocently blink as his smile stretched.

"You— nevermind. I'm gonna go get Damien. You make sure the noodles don't burn, ok?" I hop down from the counter. He nods and I walk out of the kitchen.

Stop, you said you'd get over him. You can't like him, he'll leave you and you be devastated again.

I don't want to go back to how I was

I knock on the door to Damien's room, there was no response. I knock on the door again. Nothing.

Was he in his room?
