The night was filled with extravagance and rich people's laughter, Enne spoke to many people and she had no idea who anyone was. Ed, Lucy and Susan had been long gone, having to do their own networking for their father. Enne clutched her drink as yet another old white man comes up to her to talk about the games. She smiles and nods and plays her part while subtly looking for any of the Pevensie siblings. She didn't even have Nia at her side as she usually does. Enne sighed internally, fighting the urge to hit her head against a wall.

Peter and Nia stood on either side of Snow. Both remained stoic while surveying the scene but they both were absolutely bored out of their mind. Finally the relief came and they switched to patrolling the room.
"You know..." Peter turned to Nia as they were walking, "we could just sneak off..
"Shut up."
"I'm just saying" Peter shrugged, laughing as Nia elbowed him
A familiar blonde face walked up to them. He was wearing an opened button up revealing his toned body and a white shell necklace, he walked with such confidence, Nia couldn't help the heat rising to her face.
"Nia, right?"
"Uh yea, sorry you look familiar but I don't think I know you"
The blond man laughed and adjusted his suit before extending his hand, "Finnick O'dair. Nice to meet you" he said with a charming smile.
Nia blushed, "uh nice to meet you too" she smiled taking his hand, Peter stiffened slightly and looked away.
"May I have the honour of sharing a dance" Finnick grins and bows dramatically
"I would've loved to but I'm on duty" she replied tapping the pin on her chest
"Damn fresh out the games and they're already putting you to work I see, well I'll come find you when the higher ups have a couple of drinks in them" he throws her a wink and wanders away, glancing back and grinning at her.
"Seriously" Peter rolls his eyes, "that guy is such a douche"
"I dunno he seemed nice" Nia shrugged, and smirked at Peter, "Why are you jealous?"
"God no, you can do whatever or whoever you want to" Peter said his face drained of any sort of amusement. Nia rolled her eyes as they both started their patrol route again.

The pair ended up walking closer to Enne, seeing as she looked like she was going to kill herself.
"How're you holding up?" Peter asked her quietly as they stood beside her
"When can I leave?"
"Snow said when he leaves you can too" Nia muttered, pretending to scan the room for threats.

Suddenly Nia's comms went off
Target: male, red hair, green suit blue shoes, Object of the mission: eliminate discretely.
Nia looked at Peter checking to see if he got a message too, however he showed no reaction so she figured this was one of Snows "personal" missions.
"Hey guys I have to go- to the washroom... I'll be back" she made an excuse and quickly left. Peter and Enne stared after her knowing something was up. As Peter was about to say something his comm went off and he was given orders to return to guarding Snow. He bid Enne a quick goodbye and left. Enne sighed, her brief break of character was over and she had to return to smiling and nodding at the stupidest comments made.
"Do you want to kill yourself as much as I do" Ed said suddenly beside her
"Jesus- where did you even come from" Enne clutched her chest,
"Never mind that, care to dance?" He grinned, the alcohol brought a flush to his cheeks and a certain carefree vibe that warmed Enne's heart. She grinned eagerly taking his hand and following him to the dance floor.

As the night progressed Peter was relieved of his duties, the combination of drinks and exhaustion allowed the Pevensie siblings and Enne to finally start enjoying themselves.
"Where's Nia?" Peter yelled over the loud music
"No idea!" Enne yelled as Ed spun her around,
"Here have some more of this!" Susan yelled shoving a drink in his hand.
"Where's Lu?" Peter yelled again
"The driver took her to her sleepover with the other kids!" Susan replied, she grabbed another drink and shoved it in his free hand "You're worrying too much, relax a little!"
Peter scanned the area one last time before downing the two drinks.

Nia looked both ways before she continued following the red headed man away from the party. She had been trailing him for some time trying to figure out why Snow wanted him dead. He was meeting up with two other men while she was hiding behind a wall trying to listen to what they were discussing. Suddenly it seemed the meeting had concluded and the man turned and walked away from the others. Oh fuck it.
Nia pretended to be on a phone call while he passed her then as soon as he was far enough from other people, she walked up behind him and slit his throat. That was disgusting she gagged slightly at the sight and dragged the body into a nearby closet.
"Mission completed, cleanup in the downstairs basement, janitor closet 12"
She shuddered as she made her way to the bathroom to clean the blood off her hands. What were they talking about, something about a rebellion maybe? God I hope that wasn't somebody important or good.
Nia glanced at her watch, 5am damn the party is over She undid her tight ponytail and ran her hands through her hair. Idk how long I can do this for.

She felt dread and guilt as she made her way to the white limo that would take her home. As she entered the deathly silent house she pushed the thoughts of what she had done to the back of her mind. She cringed as she opened the door to Peter's room. She tried to get changed as quietly as possibly but hit the wall while putting on her sweatpants
"Fuck" she whisper-yelled
"Where've you been" he slurred and rolled over in his bed
"Shh don't worry about it," she smiled and pushed him over slightly
"M'missed you"
"Missed u too" Nia laughed quietly as she got in bed
"Don't like Fimwick"
"Who?"
"Fill Ohare"
"Ok then buddy" she patted his head lightly, "go to sleep dumbass, we had a long day"
"M'kay Gnight"
Nia shook her head lightly and closed her eyes deciding that this was enough consciousness for one day.
