I felt my heart clog in the center of my throat. Even from my distance, I could hear Jungkook's aggravated growl that vibrated through his throat. Taehyung's brows were drawn together; his eyes staring intensely back at Jungkook's lionheartedly.

"Taehyung,"
"Jungkook,"

They both spoke simultaneously. Their voice was hefty with venom and intersecting poison. I knew that if I didn't step in now, it would be too late later.

With all my will, I moved my body forward. I stepped between them both. Their eyes stripped away from each others' grave glare and landed on me.

"There is no need for you to be acting this way. Let's go, Jungkook." I said looking at Taehyung before turning around to move Jungkook with me.

I grabbed Jungkook's hand and began to pull him away, but he didn't move. Not even an inch. His hand slipped away from mine. I turned around and saw him stepping closer to Taehyung.

There were cellphones everywhere. A large crowd had invaded the student parking lot. Everyone's eyes would keep looking from Jungkook and Taehyung to me.

Jungkook had gotten so close to Taehyung their noses almost touched. I was about to separate them again when Jungkook turned around and began to stroll my way. His eyes didn't meet mine as he wrapped his arm around my shoulders leading me to his Tesla. With one last look at Taehyung, he opened the passenger's door and shut it close. We drove away from school making the ocean of people part away. When I glanced back at the crowd, Taehyung wasn't there anymore.

The car drive was silent. Both Jungkook and I didn't glance each other. The silence only made the car ride longer.

"That fool..." Jungkook mumbled under his breath. His grip on the steering wheel tightened making his skin go white.

Maybe I had judged too soon.
I turned to look at him. He turned his head and looked at me as well.

"What did you whisper to him?" I asked lifting the hefty curiosity off my chest.

He clicked his tongue and returned to look at the road. This was his way of ending the conversation.

I was too focused on Jungkook that I hadn't even realized where we were driving through. Alongside of the road there was tall trees. Dark green leaves and bright green grass that flourished with dandelions and wildflowers. The scenery made me feel stunned at the unbelievable beauty that I only seemed to have thought existed in fairytales.

"Woah." I sighed amazed.

The car took a curve at the bending of the road. When we rounded the bend, there was an arc tunnel kind of thing that was covered with flowers. Every part of the parabola hung with luscious and eye-catching flowers. It was as if spring really had appeared.

I turned to look at Jungkook. He wore a smirk of satisfaction.

"Do you like it?" He asked looking out his window at the hanging flowers.

"What is this place?" I asked.

"This is the entrance to my driveway."

My mouth hung open when he said that. The feeling of an intense euphoria settled in me. This had to be an amazingly deep sleep I was having. How could I actually be driving through this paradise?

And right Jungkook was. At the end of the arch, there was a tall gate. Even the gate seemed to be unrealistic. It had the same structure as that of a castle. The rails were smitten in gold polish.

Jungkook lowered his window and spoke to a little speaker. Almost instantly, the rails began to move upward. Yup. Definitely a castle. The car moved forward. I didn't know why I felt so anxious. Both of my thumbs rotated with nerves.
The car took a little bend around a massive marble water fountain that settled on the center of the main front. When the car parked, I turned to look at my right, and there it was. The most unimaginable house. Jungkook seriously lived in a castle. Period.

That house was easily a three story. Even from outside you could tell it had massive rooms and high ceilings that could nearly brush the heavens. At the front of the house, there was a large marble staircase that split in two and led up to either of the front doors. In the center there seemed to be a balcony with gold framed doors and crystal windows.

I was trying to hold in the tears. I was just too excited and breathless. Jungkook got out of the car and went around the car to open my door. He held out his hand and I took it. Even the concrete below me was heavenly to step on.

I looked at Jungkook and sighed. He smiled and leaned in to give me a peck.

"Welcome to my house, y/n."

"House? This isn't a house. This is palace!" He snickered at my remark.
"I'll give you a tour, c'mon." He said gripping my hand and leading me up the staircase.

There was a pause. Well, for me at least. For a single moment everything just...vanished. If there was any sort of trouble in my head, it dissapeared with each step that I took. Somehow, going up those stairs with Jungkook made me feel as if I was welcomed into my own fairytale.

Jungkook glanced at me and smirked amused.

"Y/n l/n, if you don't say a word right now, I might just start to panic."

But I wasn't saying anything thing because I was genuinely speechless. Every step made me feel more at ease. My body was so relaxed I had to hold extra tight onto Jungkook just to not drip over the marble steps.

We arrived at the door- correction – doors. There was two wide, gold outlined doors. Holographic glass stained the windows immitted in them. The handle was gold, literally, gold. Jungkook let go of my hand and reached into his pocket.

"Hold on a minute." He said before pulling out a very vintage looking key before sticking it into the vintage keyhole on the door.

With a single click, he opened it and faced me.

"Ladies first." He said nodding his head for me to go in.

I turned my head to the open door. Even from out in the front, I could already feel the fresh breeze of the cooling air from inside. It made my arms sprout with excited and chilly goosebumps.

With one last look at Jungkook, I walked into the house. The lights lit up as soon as I stepped in. The entrance of the hall was a hallway with cream colored walls. And a long rectangle was carved on both walls. The rectangle seemed to be almost floor to ceiling as well. In a small step along the walls there was large vases. Each seemed to be incredibly eye-catching. The roof was coated in vintage gold wallpaper.
"Woah." I said still unable to analyze the beautiful art.

Jungkook stepped beside me and looked around as well.

"Nice, huh? Watch this."

I turned to face him. He lifted his right hand and snapped his fingers. The sound of water echoed down the hall. Suddenly the rectangles on the walls were pouring down water. It was a water fountain.

"Oh my..." I said staring at the water rush down so calmly.

"My father let me do some of the remodeling on the house. This touch..." His voice lowered a bit. I turned to look at him. Both of his eyes dilated as they focused on the water fountain.

"My mother had always wanted to live in a house with a water fountain. She believed water was a symbol for cleansing and life. I thought, maybe if I had at least that, it would bring me a little closer to her."
The heavy emotion on his voice was as clear as the water that flushed beside us. Jungkook's eyes had polished with a shiny coat of tears. I knew what his mom meant to him, and I knew that if I would be ever put in the position of not seeing my mom, I would go crazy.

I reached for Jungkook's hand and looked at him. His eyes met mine. With my other hand, I pressed it against his cheek and smiled.

"I'm sure your mom still believes that, Jungkook. And if she saw what you did, she would be inexplicitly happy. She wouldn't be happy because you put the fountain, but because you did it thinking of her."

He smiled at me. His lips lowered and pecked mine.

"You always know how to make me feel better, y/n."

Jungkook pulled back and sighed.

"Come. I have a lot to show you."

After a tour of two living rooms, one of the common rooms, an office, the theatre, a small library, two kitchens, the bar, the biggest laundry room I would see in my life, the formal and the informal dining room (god damn), gym, and the basement, we made our way to the bedroom wing.

The details of the house were unbelievable, or maybe a lot more beyond that. I didn't even think the head of the country could have a house like Jungkook's. On our way up to the wing, there were two crystal doors on the first floor that caught my eye. Jungkook noticed I paused and followed to where my eyes were. I knew the sounds of water were from the water fountain at the entrance, but there was another water noise coming from inside the room.

"What is in there?" I asked him with a curious frown.

He pouted thoughtfully. Not even Mr. Jeon seemed to remember what was behind that door. As soon as the pout came, it left. He pointed at the doors and smiled.

"Ah. That's the indoor pool." He said in a very casual voice.
I didn't even try to hide my astonishment. He nodded to the bedroom wing.

"Come on." Jungkook said starting up the marble staircase.

I followed shortly behind him. Once we reached the wing, there was a long hallway with a couple of doors. But at the very end, there was a two-door entrance. I was guessing that was his room? We passed the first set of single doors straight down the hall.

Jungkook reached the handle of both doors and set them open. I didn't even know what to expect anymore.

When we walked in, I was hit with a very familiar smell. His smell. Yup. We had arrived to Jeon Jungkook's bedroom. Or master bedroom-correction.

Every wall had large windows with thick curtains. In the center, there was a furry, black rug. Well, most of it was black. I followed him around a wall and into a square section of his room where his bed was against the wall. I had to admit, that bed was the fluffiest, comfortable, and warm looking king-sized bed in the entire world. The lights that were immitted on the roof were a bit dim, but pleasant. There was a big chandelier over his bed that added the royalty theme the mansion seemed to be having going on. To the right of the bed, there was two doors that led to a balcony. Even from inside, I could already see the white roses that were in beautiful flower pots.

His entire room was a master piece. And it screamed Jungkook. There wasn't a single piece that didn't vibe with him.
I loved it.

"Jungkook, this is..." There was no words to describe how amazing his room was.

When I turned to face him, there was a small smile on his face.

"I'm glad you didn't think it was too dark or something."

I shook my head. Although the color scheme was dark, the light that came through the windows brightened the room. It was an equal balance.

Jungkook walked closer to me. His hands cupped my face and sealed my lips with his. As the seconds ticked by, the kiss became deeper and richer. My hands went around his waist slowly moving up and down his muscular back. Gently, one of Jungkook's hands removed the hair tie from my hair. I felt my hair fall softly against my back.

Without a warning, he swept me off my feet bridal style, not breaking the kiss, and took me to his bed. My back was swallowed by the mattress as Jungkook's chest rested against mine. Both of our breathing became rougher and heavier.
Welp, I knew coming to my boyfriend's house meant having sex, so no surprise there.

Just as we were about to move on to the deeper stuff, the door bell rang. Now, how did we hear that door bell when the bedroom wing is literally across the house from the entrance, I don't know. But it sounded loud. And whoever it was, was definitely desperate to get in.

Jungkook groaned annoyed and rolled his eyes. His body rolled off from mine as he began to make his way out of the room. I followed quickly behind. Thank goodness we hadn't removed our clothes yet.
I don't know how he did it, but by the time I reached the staircase, Jungkook was already crossing the doorway that led to the main common room which allowed a shortcut to the main entrance. I followed quickly behind while trying not to slip on the marble floor with my socks.

No wonder Jungkook was so fit. When I reached the entrance, I was out of breath. Being fit in this house wasn't a choice it was a requirement.

Jungkook pulled out his phone and clicked on something that brought sort of like an outside view of the door. And as expected, there was cameras.

When he saw who it was, he cursed under his breath and shut off the phone screen highly irritated. The door bell rang again. This time it was way louder than before.

"Yah! We know you are in there! Your Tesla is parked right at the front! Open the door, Jungkook-ah!" A voice said from outside.

I didn't know who it was but watching Jungkook become angry and hesitate to open the door was quite amusing.
"Yah! Jeon Jungkook! If you don't-"
"Aish with you!" Jungkook said unlocking the door.
"Y/n, go into the common we just walked through." He said without looking at me.
"Alright?" I said turning around and making my way to the common room.

Through the archway of the common room, I peeked at the entrance here and there. I could see Jungkook opening the door only where his body showed. He stood there waiting for the person outside to speak.

"Hey!" Multiple voice said at once.

So it wasn't one person only.

"What are you guys doing here?" Jungkook asked flatly.
"Wow, Jungkook. Is that how you greet your friends you haven't seen in, what is it, a year?" The same voice from before said.

Hearing this got me thinking. When I met Jungkook, he told me he didn't have friends. And if he didn't have friends, then who were they?
"What do you guys want?"
"We are staying over for the week."
"What?" Jungkook asked stunned.
"Yeah, so move, muchacho." The voice said walking into the house with a small suitcase. He wore some dark shades and very luxurious clothes. He was tall too, and very handsome from what I could tell.

The rest of the boys filed in. The was a short one with a beanie and another one with headphones. They all had a suitcase with them. Jungkook was about to close the door when someone walked in.

My mouth fell open. That hair and smile I could spot anywhere. When his eyes landed on the rest of the boys, there was a bright shine that illuminated the entire house.

"Guys!"
"Hey Jimin!" They all said together.

Jimin gave them all a hug before pulling out his phone.

"Sorry I'm late y'all. My stupid Uber was going the wrong way."

Slamming the door, Jungkook walked up to the group of boys and crossed his arms over his chest.

"Alright. Who's fucking idea was this?" Jungkook said looking from one guy to the other.

Jimin pouted his lips while raising his hands in surrender.

"I did it." The guy with the shades said. Jungkook raised an eyebrow at him.
"Jin, you do know this is my house, right?"
"Yes, of course."
"That means that if you want something to happen at my house, I have to approve of it."
"Well we are already here, so we're going to stay."
"You do know that school-"
"School is over for us three, Jungkook-ah. We graduated last month."
"But not for me-Fine. You guys can stay. Come."

Jungkook walked towards the common room. Oh no. A tight knot tightened in the center of my throat. A shaking inside my body began to occur. Both of my palms began to sweat.

Jungkook saw me and grabbed my hand. The guys trailed behind him. One by one, their eyes widened and their mouth descended. Well, except Jimin's. His face lighted up. The others stared at him confused.

"Guys, this is my girlfriend, y/n l/n." They all looked at me. The one with the headphones removed them and smiled.

"Y/n, this is Jin, Yoongi, and Hoseok. And of course, you know Park Jimin."

I knew what was formal to say, but I just couldn't bring myself to say it. I kept thinking my voice was going to crack.

"Hi. Nice to meet all of you." I said with the best smile I could afford.
"Let's sit down." Jungkook said.

We all took a seat in one of the couches while Jin took the large, plush armchair.

"Yah, why didn't you tell us you had a girlfriend?" Jin asked with a smirk.
"Isn't she the one that happened to be lost along with you in Mountain Higher?" Yoongi said thoughtfully.
"Right! I knew I recognized her from somewhere!" Hoseok said pointing at me.
"Yes. It is y/n who was lost with me."
"Ah. It makes sense why you were so pissed a few minutes ago, doesn't it guys?" Jin asked smirking.

The other guys smirked too.
I didn't know what they meant by that, but Jungkook seemed to have caught it really quick.

"He had his girlfriend over. No wonder." Yoongi said.
"Oh god. I hope we didn't interrupt anything." Jimin said sounding amused.

I rolled my eyes at him jokingly. My cheeks did turn a bit hot at his comment though because they had actually interrupted something very intense...

"I know this might be random, but are you living with him, y/n?"

I turned to look at Jin with a blank face. Me? Living with Jungkook? That was preposterous. For all I knew, his dad didn't even know we were dating, well, that's what I thought. Why would he want a complete stranger living in his mansion? And not to mention I had barely arrived at my house again.

"No. I'm not living here. Just came to visit."
"Do you visit often?" Yoongi asked casually.
"To be completely honest, this is my first time here." I said genuinely.
"Wow. That's good." Yoongi said nodding approvingly.

Jungkook stood up and pulled me along with him.

"Alright. You all settle in. I'm going with y/n to the theatre room." Jungkook said to all of them. His voice, however, sounded a little edgy as if it had double meaning.
The rest of the boys seemed to have understood the message perfectly with their large smirks and with Jin adding,

"Don't worry. We don't want to follow you two lovebirds."

This time my entire face went hot. Jungkook looked at me and smiled.

"Let's go."

I didn't know how many movies we watched, but I knew I had only paid attention to the first three seconds of the first one because the rest, Jungkook and I talked and kissed, and talked and kissed.

He said the sweetest things and did the most heart fluttering gestures that a boyfriend could do to his girlfriend.

When his lips approached mine, it felt like a new dream that made me feel at ease; a powerful and inexplicable sensation that roamed every inch of my body.
Being with Jungkook made me so numb from the world that I hadn't even noticed we had gone back to his bedroom and taken a nap.
Just a nap.

I slowly opened my eyes and scanned the room. I was closer to the balcony. I could see the day had darkened and that the stars were out.

How long had we slept? I turned to look at Jungkook and saw that he was fast asleep. Gosh. He looked so fine. His sleeping face looked so peaceful. I didn't want to wake him, so with sloth-like movements I detached my back from his chest and his hand from my waist. I tried to get off the bed as slow and quietly as possible, but it took me ages since the end of the bed was like across the world.

When I finally managed to roll off of the bed, I slowly exited the room. I walked down the marble staircase and tried to remember the best route to the small kitchen. I walked through an archway and turned to a hallway that led to the far side of the front of the house.
A big relief blissed off my chest when I spotted the blurred glass kitchen door that led to the small kitchen. I went in and opened the fridge. My eyes savored the fresh water bottles inside. I grabbed one of the water bottles, which, of course, were Fiji, and gulped it all down. I was extremely thirsty.

When I finished, I exited the kitchen and made my way back to Jungkook's bedroom. However, as I made my way to the bedroom, I couldn't help but wonder what all the murmuring in one of the rooms was. Curiosity killed the cat, right? Well, I didn't care. I followed the murmurs from where they came from. The murmurs led me to the wine room?

Through the cracked door, I peeked and listened. Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok and Jimin all sat on stools and conversed with each other. All of them with a glass of wine before them.

"I'm glad Jungkook has a girlfriend," Yoongi said taking a sip from his glass.
"Me too. After everything that happened, to be honest, I never thought he would be happy ever again." Hoseok said taking a few grapes from a fruit bowl.
"Right. With everything dealing with his parents to Taehyung and Namjoon." Jin said.

Taehyung and Namjoon? How did they know Taehyung and Namjoon? And what did that have to do with Jungkook's happiness?

I was definitely not moving from the door. I knew it was wrong to eavesdrop, but I couldn't leave with unanswered questions.

"Do you still see Taehyung?" Jin asked making the rest of the boys glance at Jimin.
"Occasionally. But recently, Jungkook has been dealing with him a bit more."

The eyes of the older boys glowed with interest at Jimin's remark.

"How so?" Yoongi asked adjusting his body to Jimin's direction.
"Well, y/n, used to be friends with Taehyung, but I think Taehyung developed a crush on her. Of course, y/n didn't feel the same way. During that time, Jungkook was beginning to like her as well. Of course, she fell for Jungkook and Taehyung began to act stupid. He went as far as forcing y/n to kiss him."
All of the other boys' faces were stunned. They couldn't believe what they were hearing.

"I told you coming back to their senior year would be interesting," Jin said without looking at the other boys.

There was a pause among the boys. It seemed they were all reflecting on the same thing. Jimin licked his lips and sighed. Jin stared at his wine with a tilted head. Yoongi held a grape between his fingers as his eyes examined it. Hoseok drummed his fingers on the bar thoughtfully.

"Do you think we would all be together if nothing had ever happened between Taehyung and Jungkook?" Jimin asked without looking at anyone but his wine glass.
"It was bound to happen, Jimin. Half brothers are always bound to hate each other."

I stumbled on my feet. With feeble feet, I pulled back from the door and covered my astonished hanging mouth with a shaky hand.

How could...
When...
How...
What...

My mind was racing above high rate that I couldn't think straight. I couldn't even come up with a proper question.

Sometimes life hits you with an expected wave. And this was one of those moments in my life.
I was caught in a spell of disbelief and in an intoxicating aura. I felt angry and dumbfounded, but above all, I felt so small and clueless.
There was so much going on, but I had been blind like a bat in a dark cave.
