Y/n's. P.O.V

I had attempted to make myself busy the entire day. I vacuumed, color coded my clothes, washed our bedsheets, rearranged the bedroom, cleaned the windows, and practically anything and everything I could. When I would go to therapy, my therapist would always advice me that cleaning was an activity that was healthy and beneficial when it came to clearing your head. Since then, I would always clean as a form to clear my head from any troubled thoughts. Jungkook hadn't come into the room, and I was glad. I was afraid that if I saw him, my regaining self would decompose.

Just as I was about to move towards the bathroom, my heart stopped at the sudden knock on the door.

"Come in," I said nearly deteriorating.

Jungkook's mom opened the door and walked inside. She closed the door behind her looking at me with a smile. I tried to smile back.

"Y/n, you missed breakfast," she said walking closer to me.

I nodded with shrug.

"I slept in a bit," I said trying to sound casual.

"Well, how about we go for some brunch, and maybe a small shopping round?" She said with hopeful eyes and crossed fingers.

Whatever it was, it meant getting out of the house. Almost immediately, I agreed to go out with her.

"Well, come on then," she said. I grabbed my small wallet and let myself be dragged out of the house by her. And oddly enough, none of the boys were home.

Jungkook's P.O.V.

"Are you nervous, Jungkook?" Jimin asked from beside me. Well, anyone would be able to tell. Every five seconds, I would pick on a new fingernail and my legs were restless.

"Of course, he is. He's about to pick out an engagement ring." Seokjin said while driving. Yoongi was in the passenger's seat with his eyes closed, sleeping.

"I actually am, but it feels nice. Y/n is like everything to me, guys. I know she's the one," I say in the most sincere voice as a picture of her comes to my mind.

"Well, that's what everyone says at first," Seokjin said jokingly.

"Whatever, hyung," I say with a silly scoff.

When we entered the jewelry store, the overwhelming tickles began to prick my body. Prick on my neck. Prick on my arms. Prick on my legs. Prick everywhere. The attendant guided us towards the engagement rings when we told her we were there for that. The guys and I were guided to a section with the clear glass boxes in which many pieces of silver and gold sat, sparkling.

"Is there any model or style you are looking for in specific?" The attendant asked us. Her eyes moving from each one of us wondering who was the one who had come to collect the ring.

I stepped closer to the glass display (making the clerk's eyes widen a bit since I looked the youngest out of us all) and scanned my eyes over the various rings. Some were overly decorated and some were lacking, and seeing them all at the same time was like being choked. I was overwhelmed with the choices and I was pressured with the thought of y/n's reaction to it. However, the weight lightened when the guys surrounded me and began to point out some of them.

"This one is pretty. It's like a princess model," Seokjin hyung said pointing at a ring with a squared diamond at the top and little diamonds embedded on the ring.

"Ooh! That one is cute. It has like a tingue of aquamarine on the jewel," Hoseok said pointing at a ring with a round diamond that was slightly colored aquamarine.

I licked my lips nervously while looking from one ring to another. As I looked at all the models, I realized that my best guide was y/n herself. What she liked and her personality. The ring had to match the way in which I saw her. And to me y/n was simple but beautiful. That was the kind of ring I needed. A simple but beautiful ring reflected the way in which I saw y/n. I looked up at the clerk and almost screamed at how excited I was.
