"please, picture me in the trees. i hit my peak at seven."

Headline upon headline, that's what you woke up to this beautiful morning.

"WILL (Y/N) SHIELD ATTEND TONIGHT'S EVENT IN HOSU CITY?"

"(Y/N) SHIELD; IS SHE INVOLVED WITH ANYONE AT U.A HIGH?"

"(Y/N) SHIELD MAKES AN APPEARANCE ON TALK SHOW TOMORROW NIGHT!"

Letting out a sigh, you sit up in your bed, throwing your phone on top of your comforter and rubbing the tiredness from your eyes. Even though you were supposed to be doing an internship this week, Madam President had opted for you to rather attend a charity event tonight and a talk show tomorrow since in her words, you 'already had enough experience.'

After going through your morning routine, you walk downstairs to the kitchen, planning to make yourself something to eat before you had to head to Hosu for what you thought to be a stupid event tonight.

"About time you woke up!"

"Keigo, why are you in my house?" You walk into your kitchen, grabbing all of the ingredients to make an acai bowl for yourself. "Better yet, how did you get into my house? I don't recall giving you a key."

"Am I not allowed to visit my favorite person?" He looks at you with that stupid grin on his face, almost as if he was a little kid trying to make up an excuse as to why they were bothering their parents.

"Answer my question first. How'd you get into my house?" You turn on the blender, then lean over the kitchen island to talk to him.

"Can't hear you over the blender!" He shouts. You knew that he was only doing it to provoke you, so you chose to ignore it.

Once you turn the blender off and start to make the acai bowl, you begin to question him as you were before. "Can you at least tell me why you're in my house? I mean, I definitely don't mind you showing up completely unannounced and not telling me how you broke into my house, but I would like to know why you're here."

"I don't have any food left in my fridge and I knew you'd be making yourself breakfast."

You look over your shoulder at him, "...Are you actually fucking serious right now? I mean, you're really so lazy that you had to come to a sixteen year old's house for some food because you don't feel like grocery shopping?"

"Okay, that hurt my ego. I feel like I just got blindsided, stabbed in the back, and now I have to look at my killer." He looks at you with a small frown on his face and his arms crossed over his chest.

"Overdramatic much?"

After spending around another thirty minutes raiding your house for food, Keigo had finally left. You still didn't figure out exactly how he got into your house, and he refused to tell you so that he could come back whenever he wanted to.

Later on, you had finally gotten yourself ready for the charity event and were about to walk down the red carpet. You had quite a few options for dresses, but had decided on a long black dress paired with long black gloves.

As soon as you had stepped out of the limo that brought you there, you were blinded by the flashing lights of the cameras and heard nothing but reporters yelling over each other trying to get your attention,

This was nothing that you weren't used to. Afterall, you spent most of your life so far being in the spotlight. At this point, practically every single time you were out in public there would be a camera following you.

Which in a way still managed to freak you out.

There were certain spots on the carpet that reporters were set up for news stations to get the coverage that they so desperately wanted. And once you reached the spot with the reporter, you were immediately bombarded with questions.

"So, (y/n), would you mind telling us what it's like working alongside pro heroes at U.A?" The reporter practically shoved a microphone in your face when she asked you the question.

"Well, I'm very lucky to have the opportunity to train with pro heroes being there to assist me. For anyone that's an aspiring hero, being able to be taught by the pros themselves is the chance of a lifetime."

The rest of your walk down the red carpet had continued as such. You would walk a few feet, get your picture taken by dozens of photographers, walk a few more feet, get asked questions by a reporter, and the cycle was repeated.

It took you at least thirty minutes of being on the red carpet to even manage to get into the event itself.

And it was one of the most boring events that you had probably ever been to.

You wanted out of that building. You thought that this whole thing was stupid. You had the chance to do an internship with a pro hero taken away so that you could be at an event for some charity that practically nobody ever heard of, and you found that to be extremely unfair. In your eyes, this event was only for publicity, and you knew that you were probably right.

You were waiting for something, anything, exciting to happen. But alas, all you could do was sit by yourself at a table while a bunch of rich adults were mingling around you.

And while you didn't get it in the way that you hoped, there was one exciting thing that happened while you were there.
