"no one knows how much i miss you."

You had arrived back at the dorms pretty late, and you heard commotion coming from the training grounds.

You were pretty much exhausted given the fact that it was getting to be pretty late and you had yourself quite the long day, but you were still going to check out what was going on.

You totally weren't just trying to be nosey and see what all of the drama was about.

All Might was walking towards the commotion, too, and so you decided that it was most definitely going to be well worth your time.

Izuku and Bakugo both looked to be completely out of breath, scratches covering their bodies.

Bakugo had Izuku pinned to the ground, looking like he just won a fight.

"Stop this right now. Both of you." Your uncle tells them, using a stern voice. "I'm sorry, but I heard what you've said."

"All Might." Bakugo mutters, looking over his shoulder at the man.

"When'd you get here?" Izuku asks.

You and All Might start walking over to the two, watching as Bakugo stood up and Izuku sat himself up.

"I didn't notice before. I should have." The man says.

"It's too late now." Bakugo tells him, looking down at Izuku, "Why did you pick Deku? It started when the sludge villain came, didn't it? So why him?"

Oh, it was for sure the right choice for you to tag along.

This was the juiciest bit of drama that you were bound to get for a while.

"He was powerless. But still more heroic than anyone else. I knew you were strong. That much was obvious. You were someone who could already fight. So, I decided that he should have the chance to stand in the ring." He explains, which was only making Bakugo more frustrated.

"But now you know I'm weak, too. I always wanted to be like you, which meant being as strong as possible. But look what I did to you. Because I'm not good enough." Bakugo sounded like he was on the verge of tears, his voice breaking more and more with each word.

Now you were starting to get it.

Bakugo felt like he was responsible for All Might having to retire since he wouldn't have had to save him if he hadn't gotten kidnapped at the training camp to begin with.

All Might walks closer to him until he's standing directly in front of him. "This is not your fault, Young Bakugo. I was always going to lose my power. You couldn't do anything to change that. You are strong. But I focused too much on your physical strength and overlooked what was important. This isn't your burden."
