"life is emotionally abusive."

Even though the two of you told each other how you felt, you and Izuku didn't officially start a relationship just yet.

No, he was waiting until the school festival to ask you officially.

In the mean time, you had more of a friends with benefits thing going on. A situationship if you will.

Overall, you had been in a much better mood. It was pretty noticeable too.

As of right now, you were walking through the hallways in the hospital with Izuku and Mirio, making your way to Eri's room.

All she wanted was to see you three.

You slide open the door, being met with Eri sitting on her hospital bed.

"Sorry we couldn't come see you sooner." Izuku tells her.

Mirio holds up the basket you three put together, "We brought you some yummy snacks, though. Hope you're feelin' hungry! What's your favorite fruit? Oh! No! Lemme guess. Peaches are your fav, right? 'Cause you're a peach!"

Eri takes the basket from him, saying only one word, "Apples."

"Yeah? Here, I'll peel it for you." You tell her, taking the small knife you always carried in your bag out and grabbing the apple from the basket, "Next time I run to the store I'll be sure to pick some more up for you."

You always carried around that pocket knife in your bag. You figured that if something were to ever put anyone in danger and you couldn't use your Quirk to protect them, it was better to be safe than sorry.

Well, also because Madam President told you to keep a knife on you at all times. But you preferred your reasoning over just having a knife because she told you to.

You cut up the apple, putting the slices onto a small plate for her, then stick the knife back in your bag.

"This whole time, even when I had a fever, all I could think about was how much you did for me. How you saved me. But... I don't even know what to call you. I know Lemillion's name and (y/n)'s name, but that's it. So, who are you?" She asks, looking at Izuku.

"I'm Izuku Midoriya. My hero name is Deku! You know what? Deku's probably easier to remember since it's shorter. So, yeah. I'm Deku!"

"A hero name?"

"It's like a nickname, sort of."

"Deku." Eri repeats, "So Lemillion and Deku. And (y/n) is just (y/n). And then... There was the man wearing glasses. All of you ended up getting hurt real bad because of me. It's all my fault. All the terrible stuff that happened... I'm so sorry."

The poor girl. You could tell that she was obviously feeling guilty for what happened, even if it wasn't actually her fault.

But at the same time, you also knew that nobody told her about Sir Nighteye yet. It was too cruel for her to know right now with how badly she was feeling about the whole situation.
